The Bamboo bar is the absolute best bar anyone could use. No question. The benefits to all the joints, ligaments and tendons makes the bar worth its weight in gold. And from what I’ve noticed, sadly it’s the most underused bar. It’s saved me. Completely saved my knees and shoulders.

The safety bar has been so beneficial to my training! Great way to work on my core/upper back and not stress my shoulders. Thanks for all the videos as always Matt!

Absolutely agree that having multiple bars in your gym is best for your training. It’s allowed me to keep the movements rotating and keep training fresh. And when I go back to straight bar I’m that much better.

The powerlifting gym I go to has all these bars. We used the Rhino Bandbell bar yesterday for bench. Probably the best bar I’ve used for the straight bar alternative.

I love the fat bars or even fat grips for building grip strength too. I have a multi grip / football bar that also has a camber. Really like benching with that bar. It just feels right and I get a great pump. Surprisingly, it is also works well with an incline.

I can't see how you're not passed 2mill at this point. Hopefully the younger trainers who are serious about strength theory and application will take advantage of this channel instead of focusing on "influencers" who just tell ppl to pin some tren and pop a few halotestin. The info you provide is golden.

I hit 225 for 8 on my bamboo bar recently. I was more proud of that than putting up bigger numbers with a regular bar. It feels like you are in a fight with the bar, but the recovery seems much easier.

Very informative video. Very few commercial gyms have these bars. But when gyms closed a couple of years ago due to Covid, I began to invest in a garage gym, and bought a trap bar and a football/Swiss bar. As I’m in my 60s, these bars are great for folks with shoulder issues.

What do you think of the Bandbell Rhino bars? They seem to be like the bamboo, but you can also load plates. And one thing I don‘t understand well; the bow, swiss, safety bars safe the shoulders. Is it a mobility issue, or do flexible people profit aswell? (I just got my first speciality bar, a multigrip bar, and I‘m about to build a diy-bamboo bar)
