For me…. It’s Beterbiev by mid-late stoppage. It could easily be Bivol though so I respect anyone who sees him wining. People underestimate Arturs ability. Throughout the history of boxing the master boxers have had more victories over the pressure fighters of the sport rather than the other way round. Tunney mastering Dempsey. Mayweather mastering Canelo. Calzaghe bossing Lacey. Even Ward mastering Froch ( sorry Carl!).On that historic basis I lean towards Bivol but Beterbiev is not your ordinary bruiser. He has mastered the art of cutting the ring off, chipping away and ultimately destroying everyone put in front of him. I can visualise Bivol putting on a masterclass of pure boxing genius but I can also visualise Beterbiev's unstoppable pressure catching up with Bivol at some point surely. I'm changing my mind again, damn it!😂.

Beterbiev lives a strict religious life . Since he come into the pros has been extremely hard to match for obvious reasons. Done 90 rounds to Bivols 190. There's no doubt Beterbiev has big power and also good fundamentals, but I honestly see this as going the same way as Usyk-Gassiev. I've been fooled before into thinking power can be the overriding factor, but as Usyk showed I think overall ability, footwork and judge of distance will be a big asset for Bivol. When you say they're Russian, they are both Russian with an asterisk. Bivol is not ethnically Russian at all, and was born In Kyrgyzstan to a Moldovan father and Korean mother. Beterbiev is Dagestani, so yeah, it's part of Russia, but they have their own thing going on. Anyway, zero desire to get into an argument with The Cobra, so I'm just saying it coz I think their backgrounds are interesting and could do with the expanding on beyond the Russian tag 😜. And I gotta say as a casual I'm also looking forward to this fight. I do think these guys have got a quite a decent profile outside of just the core fight industry. Like many others, we just want to see the top quality fights, and this feels like it has the potential to be one of the fights of the decade.

Beterbiev gives 100% towards ko’ing his opponents. He never stops trying to destroy them. So it’s going to be Bivol trying to avoid the onslaught and try to win rounds at the same time, and that is extremely hard to do. Ali v Frazier 1 comes to mind.

If Bivol drops his left hand as he has a habit of doing (and did against Joe Smith), Beterbiev will come over the top with his right and connect above Bivol’s left year. I think Bivol wins on points or Beterbiev by Knockout in later rounds!... Why? Reason is Beterbiev is much older, does cut easily & has had injuries whilst recovering from them. Yes he's strong like an Ox, has ram like jab, is the puncher, is the pressure fighter, got good ring generalship and fights one way, coming forward and chops you down but at the end i think his age will go against him with recurring past problems coming back.... Bivol on the other hand is younger, more variety in his boxing, and has better movement. He will control Beterbiev's pressure by his boxing and jab and will win on points i think.... I like both of them but it's Time to change champion hands!

Canelo got completely outscored by Bivol, and was made to lookl like a midget. But he was able to get up close and land at some points in most rounds. He does move well which will make it difficult for Beterbiev to land but if he does...I would have backed Beterbiev all day long personally until I heard that Beterbiev is working on speed, I don't know why but I always worry about a strong hard hitter when they say they are working on speed.

Beterbiev is crazy good at cutting off the ring and even though Bivol has great movement I can't see him avoiding Beterbiev power for 12 rounds...
