Have intentionally scratched my forearm several times in the last few days and NO subcutaneous bleeds!😊🎉 So am now searching for foods to focus on instead of buying powder. I share this in hopes it might be of benefit to others. After listening more, I realize another factor is I’ve been eating a mandarin orange almost every day to help absorb iron-became anemic due to a bleed,so this is probably part of the equation.

I was advised by Dr. Ray Strand approximately 20 years ago to add 300mg of Grapeseed Extract to my daily treatment. I have SLE, Sjogrens and Hoshimotos for over 50 years. I was also advised to eat in the manner you've encouraged. I'm lucky my mom is French and this is typical (or it used to be) the way the French eat so I've eaten very well my whole life. I quit using the grapeseed to save money and there was a significant difference. I resumed the grapeseed after 5 years and if nothing else, my joints have a slight, noticeable improvement. My physician believes I "do better than most" in managing my illness due primarily to my healthy diet. This doesn't mean I haven't experienced life-threatening episodes, but I heal and tolerate these episodes "better than most". Thanks for this video.

Dear Dr. Dray and followers. As a young mother (years and years ago-- in my young and stupid days-- who still suffered with acne, I was taking vitamin A supplements, hoping for some improvement. After not getting any results, I thought maybe increasing the vitamin A would certainly help. So I tripled the dose. Before long I noticed my skin looked gold-ish and I felt as if I had a bad case of the flu--but it didn't go away. I felt so sick that I finally went to the doctor. As it turned out I gave myself hepatitis from all that vitamin A, and which of course was making my liver very unhappy. I was sick and weak, and could hardly walk to the kitchen. I was sick for 5 months! I had no knowledge about stored vitamins, and what the result could be. I didn't learn that until years later. Since I had a young baby and a toddler, it was a particularly hard time. And I was also contagious, so no family or f.riends could come to help. Or even visit! Best of luck to followers of Dr. Dray. When she warns not to take a large amount of something, you must listen. A hard lesson learned, and I hope to save someone else such a result. NO fat soluable vitamin overdoses, please. (ADEK) The liver can only handle sooo much.

This was so informative, clear, concise and digestible. I was able to pause and make a list of each bullet point and could clearly understand what i was supposed to look for or avoid and WHY. Your level of in-depth explanation as to how these components work together is what makes me understand food/skin/anything in a new way and that is the type of learning that keeps me coming back!

A Soul food favorite GREENS (Turnip, Mustard, Collard) has always contributed to the good skin health I was fortunate to have. This dish provides vit A, folic acid, Vit C and it’s literally stewed in a bone broth (smoked ham hocks) packed with collagen which also helps improve skin, hair and nails.
@jmseipp Жыл бұрын
Others say that bone broth isn’t a very good source of collagen. It doesn’t get digested and absorbed well.

Regarding soy: Natto is probably the best form of soy. It's fermented soy beans, and it has an unbelievable nutritional profile. It has tons of vitamin K2 and is probiotic. You can order it from Rhapsody Natural Foods. They make a much better-tasting natto than Megumi.
@QJewels3 жыл бұрын
Yes. My homeopathic told me to only have fermented soy. I’m allergic to soy, but Tempe and nato and the like don’t bug me, but only a little cuz hormone affects

What a lovely clear concise explanation of what to eat and what not to eat. Easy to understand and though I do most of what is advised I still learnt more of what not to do. Absolutely lovely presentation. Thank you

Love it! Love this information, thank you. (Except soy milk if full of seed oils (to make it creamy), not healthy way to get the benefits of soy.)

Love your NO BS approach. I’m a 6/2. 60yr old athletically built, daily heavy weight lifting CEO of a Human Stem Cells company. My Vietnamese GF owns a Pho Restaurant that serves organic beef bone Pho (soup)…. We try to eat 90% organic simple raw foods or non processed home cooked organic meals . My GF’s got me wearing long sleeve jackets and gloves when driving and using an umbrella when walking outdoors ….. hahahaha…… BTW, she’s 40 because I look youthful and healthy skin….. or maybe my being half white and Polynesian and 12% Chinese helps too maybe… thanks Mom and Dad…. Thx Doc
