Why isn’t this video just 3 hours of Detective Pikachu Returns, the Game of the Decade? But really, despite the rough start 2023 has been with all of KZbin’s shenanigans, this year has definitely been my personal favourite with all the amazing series such as Tears of the Kingdom, Mario Kart, the Green Screen Movie Nights and the many Pokemon videos from the BW2 Nuzlocke to the Scarlet and Violet DLC’s all while being part and modding for this amazing community and wish it could never change! *2023 has been truly been such a KZbin.*

I have only just realized after finishing this video that I've been watching Dan since middle school. Almost six years. That is, honestly, insane to me. I start my first semester of college in just over a week and I *know* that this channel's content will continue to be part of my life through it. Thank you to Cloe and Wolfzie for help making this channel as lovely as it is, I know it wouldn't be the same without the art and the editing from the two of them. And, of course, thank you to Daniel RTGame for quite literally everything you've done for your viewers. You continue to surprise me with how unique some of your ideas are, especially when it comes to IRL content. IRL Powerwashing, a date with Chat, bathtub stream, playing City Skylines over a highway, and that's just a few. Whether these ideas were uniquely yours or not, it is the simple fact that it is something you have done for the sake of doing it. I am obviously not talking about 2023 alone, but all of your content since you started streaming more games. You are intelligent. You are creative. You are brave. You are Daniel RTGame, and you are a KZbin. See you in 2024 :)

There’s no particularly good way of monetarily supporting you outside Twitch, so this will have to do. Either way I want to point out the insane consistency you have managed to uphold in what must be over half a decade by now. I feel like over the years louder and more “in your face” type editing has more or less become the standard and while there's not necessarily anything wrong with that, it's not quite for me. So having your videos remain comparatively minimalistic, while still high effort, has been a continuous breath of fresh air. I forget which video it was, and I unfortunately can’t find it (hope it's not something I've made up) but in one of your update vlogs quite a few years back you talk about how you wanted your videos to not depend on trends or time specific styles but instead be more of a retelling that you many years from now can look back on and be genuinely proud of. Seeing you still stick with that sentiment several years later is really great, especially in an environment such as this. You and Cloé make a fantastic team, congrats on making it through 2023 despite the initial difficulties and good luck with whatever nonsense KZbin hopefully isn't about to throw at you

Back in March, I was going through a major depressive episode. The Wallace and Gromit videos came out around then, and they were a great distraction from my inner turmoil. I absolutely loved the Rhythm games, and I've rewatched so many of your videos throughout the year. Cool! anyway, here is the recipie for brownies! - 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter - 2 cups granulated sugar - 4 large eggs - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract - 1 cup all-purpose flour - 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder - 1/4 teaspoon baking powder - 1/4 teaspoon salt - 1 cup chopped nuts (optional) Instructions: 1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking pan. 2. In a medium-sized saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Remove from heat and stir in the sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until well combined. 3. In a separate bowl, sift together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add this dry mixture to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined. 4. If desired, fold in the chopped nuts into the batter. 5. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan, spreading it evenly. 6. Bake in the preheated oven for approximately 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with moist crumbs (not wet batter). 7. Allow the brownies to cool completely in the pan before cutting into squares. Enjoy your homemade brownies!

Always nice to have something to watch like this on my break. This year has both been great and anxiety-inducing for me, as I have moved to a completely new country for work (from Australia to Canada), so it's been quite the KZbin of a year (take that as you will). Having something to blow off steam and to just laugh away the stress from a day of work in a place I barely know has really helped, and I have to thank you and many other amazing streamers for making entertainment, whether Twitch and KZbin incentivise you properly to do so or not.
