Natasha.... your video is just what I needed to look forward to the upcoming holidays. My dad has been in the hospital since last Sunday with Congestive Heart Failure, Water in his Lungs, COPD, and Pneumonia... with lack of oxygen going to his brain, he experienced acute delusion. I have been sleeping on a hospital chair since Sunday. My little brother relieves me for a little bit, so I can shower and grab a quick 3 hour nap. Then I go back to take care of him. He is slowly progressively getting better but it's slow. I honestly needed this video, it really made me happy and hopeful. God Bless you and your family! Happy Cooking!

I have used several different recipes through the years. This one is BY FAR the best I've found. The filling is delicious and like eating an expensive custard. You will not be disappointed with this one and will probably never use another recipe after you taste this one. It's sooooo addictive.

I've Loved pumpkin pie ever since I was a kid My grandmother used to make an Old fashioned pumpkin pie and I love it I still do this day but she passed away in 2000 so I haven't had a a homemade pumpkin pie in a long time I can't wait to make my own the store bought is okay but it's not my grandma's you take care of dear and God bless

I did your recipe but I went to the Mexican store and ended up the sweet canned milk so had to use half and half and 1/4 cup of the sweet milk. I pureed my own worty green pumpkin which was so delicious. The pie was amazing. Thanks much.

LIBBY'S Pumpkin is made from pumpkin. Other brands are made with Squash. We lived near a Libby's Pumpkin field many years ago, and they gave us fruit that grew on the fence row. Amazingly good fresh pumpkin!

Really enjoying cooking with you~ I am impressed with the dry bean pre-bake and the paper to hold it all in place, so very cool. I did measure to a T all the ingredients and lucky that I made two shells as it filled both of them to the top. Possibly my glass pie plates are smaller but two is always better than One! Thanks for your desire to cook the best, I love cooking with you. Just so you know your method of crimping the crust worked out perfectly for me too. I have always had a sort of sloppy looking edge but now even my husband commented saying it looked perfect.

It's usually mentioned in the recipe, I add some notes if it can be made ahead. For this pie, you can pre-bake the crust a day or two ahead and even completely bake and refrigerate the pie two days ahead.

You're right, that is the creamiest, most beautiful pumpkin pie ever! I've been making pumpkin pies for years (definitely switching to your recipe) but even without pre-baking my crust, I have to cover it & fuss over it & it still gets too brown. Confession: I usually use store bought crust. Is your pie crust recipe the reason you don't have to worry about it getting too brown? Btw, I love your videos!😊

My friends and family 🇦🇺 are used to savoury pumpkin - mashed, gnocchi or roasted (and more). This looks absolutely delicious. Anything with brown sugar is a winner for me. Love to know why use canned pumpkin purée rather than make it from scratch? Love your recipes.
