Be sure to check if your shoes have metal, usually found around the eyelets, before putting it the microwave. That's a pretty important point to not blow up your microwave.

@dustinkong221
@dustinkong221 4 жыл бұрын
@@PHeMoX Most shoes have metal eyelets, either being aluminum, steel, or brass. All of these metals are not good to microwave. Thin aluminum will spark in the microwave actually, so I'm not sure what you mean by "a little metal". Regardless I think having a shoes that are not broken in as much and a working microwave beats out a potential big mess. Safety>Broken in shoes. Safety is key!
@fubar1872008
@fubar1872008 4 жыл бұрын
To be honest pretty metal in your microwave will not destroy it. I have done it many times as an experiment I have tried foil forks butter knives nails and the only thing it does is spark across the metal and or start a fire due to the metals breaking down as aluminum foil has a low melting point and catches fire fairly easy it's not the metal per se that's going to damage the microwave it's the fire that the metal created. But if you're watching it it shouldn't hurt anything but I wouldn't do it if there is any cloth in contact to the metal as that's a surefire thing to cause a fire. The reason why people have always said that putting metal in your microwave or destroy your microwave is that the metal that you put in there can cause a fire and or burn you when you pull it out. The frame of the microwave is metal so if metal affected the microwave it wouldn't be made for metal it would be made from plastic or some other carbonate.

@6:05 Another life tip: Use spray deodorant when breaking in new shoes, especially stiff shoes like tennis or basketball shoes, cleets, formal shoes etc. Spray your heels heavily in it before putting your socks on. Makes the breaking in time much more comfortable as it's lubricating that friction area, just like how it's useful for grinds as a skater!

Me and my wife, we just started getting back into skateboarding. We're old, like on the cusp of 50 - she's approaching it, I'm just over it, kinda thing. First time out round our local park yesterday & I'm actually pretty ok with it, considering. Missus, not so much. Thing is, all the time I was trying to get up the nerve to take my board out, I was standing on the board, popping it up, getting used to the balance & how the trucks are set up. Rolling's not something I could do during the winter, but just being on the board, yeah. The difference between me riding it for the first time and my wife riding the board was huge. So if you're not able to get out & have a push, at least use your board like a balance board so you stay used to how it feels.

As someone who likes to go hiking and airsofting too I’ve found if you remove the inner strands of 550 cord and melt the ends they make REALLY strong laces for cheap

The first time I ever went to a park to skate, a random guy came up to me, gave me a couple tips, said “it’s hot out there” and handed me a bottled water. I don’t think this man even realized the impact this had on me but it’s basically the main reason I decided to stick with skating. The community is just unmatched

The part we’re your saying to not worry about being judged when going to a skatepark if your learning how to skate is true I know a lot of people that would go super early so no one would be there but honestly it doesn’t matter how good you are skaters are usually quite friendly people and will give you tips and don’t judge people as long as they are out there skating and having fun. The people who are judged or called posers are the ones who would talk all the time about skating and when you finally get them to a skate with you at a spot or skate park they just sit around. So as long as your trying your good just don’t suck and have a big mouth and you’ll be accepted at the park.

honestly, the best skate life hack is to keep the holes in your shoes, it helps me land my tricks better since if i cant see the holes while, sliding, i’m good

In hockey for your skates you have to “bake” them to form around your feet so basically the same as microwaving shoe

I’m not a skateboarder but I like to follow it . I aggressive rollerblade and one thing we do to stop shoe lace tearing is we buy hockey laces and they last close to forever . Buy hockey laces for your shoes and it’ll last for a long long time Please like this so others can see

also I was taught to only drink when thirsty or when your breathe tastes bad because you might over hydrate yourself which bloats your stomach (those time when any amount of pressure on your belly makes you sick) and it can sometimes in extreme cases, (although very uncommon) cause death

A shoe hack for anyone... 1.Get an old basketball 2.check which shoe or foot it is you flip with 3. Cut the basketball to fit onto the shoe Glue and or poke holes for the laces If you don't want to glue it to your shoe is your choice but this will help said shoe to stop wearing and showing a foot or sock. I have had many pairs of shoes because I would flip with the same foot and my shoe would be trashed. I hope this can help others with the same problems or are like me don't have the money to constantly go out and buy shoes ✌🇦🇺
