Imho Wenning is the best source on how to train. So well explained, no silly stuff like a lot of others out there on KZbin.

I tend to never do wenning warmups before dynamic effort days but always do them before max effort days, should I always be doing them?
@_AE_693 жыл бұрын
Yes all the time
@genezysgoncalves59373 жыл бұрын
Its a warmup. You have to do it always before your main lifts
@lajneen23153 жыл бұрын
I presonally wouldn't bother on dynamic days, just ramp up the weight until you reach your working weight for your speed bench which should be light enough anyway. There's no danger of skipping it on dynamic days.
@genezysgoncalves59373 жыл бұрын
@@lajneen2315 on dynamic effort days its still necessary to build work capacity.
@cankercanison923 жыл бұрын
@@genezysgoncalves5937 Totally agree with this, I always do them although it can be frustrating in a commercial gym where the racks constantly get taken.

Had speed bench today, varied the sets. Secondary work was getting a 3RM out of last week’s 2RM CG incline. Tertiary work was compound sets of rope pushdowns and isolateral pushdowns. Descending sets with EZbar then Fatbar. Been missing the pump lately

🤣. We have tons of alternative movements in the manuals 💪💪💪💪
@williamlawlor7445 Жыл бұрын
What fancy equipment? You can get chains easily. The football bar only makes it easier on your shoulders. If you don't have try reverse grip work or dbs even. The tricep machine for back work could be anything where your chest is supported and your locked in. Don't look at the equipment. Look at the function and end results of what the equipment is trying to achieve and you'll find a way.
