@@ToolsandTargets even though I don't have a .44 Magnum revolver, but my Desert Eagle in that same caliber is not only quite heavy, but it's also very pleasant to shoot for such a big gun. Hell Tools, even my one aunt was quite surprised at how well that i've handled a .44 Magnum that big.

Great guns. My 2021 Anaconda has been shot a bunch. I just crossed the 3,000 Magnum rounds of all types. No light primer strikes in double action like you see in the comments. The single action is a lot better now than when it was new. A true Beast of a hand cannon. I love it.

Now that's the way to slice watermelons! I bought a 8" Anaconda in 2022 and it is like yours. nice and shiny and buttery smooth, mine came with rubber grips so I bought a wood set from Altamont like what came on my 2020 Python except I got a little scroll work on em. I put a set of Wilson Combat sight on both the Python and Anaconda, fiber optic front sight and a U notch adj rear sight. Hot here as well, 107 right now, sposed to be 111 & 114 all next week. Too dang hot to go to the range so I'll just stay home and watch y'all shoot. Good video brother.

Tried the 9mm Hornady HAP's on water jugs, went straight thru 2 layers of denim, 1 layer of cotton tshirt and three water jugs. I didn't catch the slug, but the exit hole was same size as the entrance, so I don't have much hope for a jelly test.

I'm not surprised. That bullet is intended for the range, knocking down steel and poking holes in paper. It isn't designed for energy transfer to soft media, like their XTP is. It will, as a result of the meplat, and it may surprise you in the jelly targets because of the meplat.

Never had a revolver and this has always been at the top of my list. The reason i never putchased s revolver of this length is because as a handgun its not something i can EDC. As of now i personally will buy a handgun that i cant carry. I don't have thr money or mindset to buy a gun just to shoot few times a year or to collect. But i more than like will get this Colt Anaconda 8 inch. I will need some training on it though. This will definitely be a gun that i take to the range alot and use for home defense option
