Can I make a suggestion when you build the kitchen to have a work table that can be raised and lowered. Like a standing desk we have stainless steel versions. For disabled people and wheelchair users. Never know when you might need fixtures for people. Plus brilliant for tall people saves us bending to prep.

Also good for those of us who are height challenged. The newest trend in bathrooms is to raise the vanity height, which makes it nearly impossible to brush your teeth if you’re shorter.

Oh great advise. I had thought of my own disabled son who required so amenities like wider doors, a bit higher tables to fit his wheel chair arm rest, a ramp to get in and out from the front or exist doors, more space in the bathroom to fit his w/c as well, etc… as well as for taller or shorter people.👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

Great to see Gwen looking so well and lovely. The kitchen is fantastic. Remember to photograph all the walls to show the location of the electrics and plumbing, so that owners in the future will be able to find it easily. You can make a file showing all the work done to bring the convent back to life again. It would be a very valuable resource in years to come. Sean, Duncan, you are both masters of your craft. I've been flowing Sean's world for the past 7 months, and it's a great channel. His etsy shop is amazing. Did you know, an easy way to clean copper is with ketchup. The acid in ketchup reacts to help remove tarnish.

Get Michael and Ryan to lift the cooker with you. You need a small forklift for the convent. Sean and Duncan's work is a work of art. So precise. The copper pans are going to look perfect in that kitchen. My Mom had a small copper pan and I didn't know how to cook in it and burned it badly. My favorite is the round bowls for whipping up cream. This kitchen is going to be the best!

The Southern version of looking at pans would be using cast iron pans instead of cooper. The brands most commonly seen in use around here are Lodge, Wagner Ware, Griswold, and Grandmother's (as in that's the one my Grandmother used).

Sean and Billy’s enthusiasm for copper has even got me looking for it in our local antique centres! France seems to be on trend - the new season in M&S clothes had lots of French phrases on t-shirts etc. I wonder what “Crack On” in French is? 😀.
