Might be but I feel sad for this cute little car. They keep throwing it from left to right and no competition wants to use it. The Brabham was supposed to race in the FIA WEC this year but no sign of it. Instead the low budget British GT Cup opened their door for it. Hopefully We'll get to see it in the GT World Championship next season.

I am from Adelaide Australia and I am glad that this car is being built here. I met David Brabham in November 2018. David is an absolute champion. The event was the Adelaide Motorsport Festival of speed. David had two cars one a display and in full carbonfiber. This car is a beast. The sound can't be captured from camera it's so much louder in real life. It's actually a Ford 5ltr engine bored out to 5.4 however it would not surprise me if it is a V8 supercar engine and bored out.

It looks great! Like a curvy Lamborghini (mainly because of the headlight design similarities)! As an American, I have no way of knowing this, but can a Brit or Aussie let me know if Brabham is still doing 'special editions' of modern production cars from the big name manufacturers? I remember the name from old Top Gear episodes, where I think they did a special tune of some production car that Jeremy or Hammond reviewed, and I remember it having an absolutely phenomenal exhaust note. I'm just wondering, can they do custom exhaust/performance mods for stuff that's come out in the last decade or two?

I dont think the details are too intimately known at this time. It seems to be a Coyote/Voodoo/Modular derived unit so technically everyone is correct as the F-150 and 350 both have derivatives of that.

Jack Brabham departed the F1 team in the early 70s. I think his partner then sold to Bernie Ecclestone who had renewed success employing the talents of Gordon Murray who designed some absolutely beautiful, groundbreaking and effective machines. Bernie was also gifted in choosing and dictating to sponsors how his cars would look and what colours they had to have their logos. The cars looked stunning in white with Martini stripes, Alfa red, and the famous blue and white Parmalat or Olivetti with matching BMW, FILA, Santal, Michelin etc sponsorship. What I like about David Brabham's new cars is that he has clearly acknowledged the entire Brabham heritage and success. Unlike the current McLaren F1 team that has stripped away significant reminders of the supremely successful Ron Dennis-led McLaren International/Project 4 era by reverting to papaya orange and ditching the MP4 prefix, the new Brabham cars' colour range includes the deep red and blue and the blue and white of the Bernie period, and the front valance/spoiler of the car in this video is cantered at an angle at the sides ... possibly in the interests of down force and aerodynamics but, in white, isn't it reminiscent of the trapezoid Murray-penned BT42/BT45?? Exciting times anyway. I like how they've gone about this and I hope they do well in motorsport and sales.

@@Shifty_Malone you can change the stiffness, the rebound and the compression separately, by sliders. Also the ride height. And the limited slip differential, the gearing, and the weight and horsepower. Can not decide what parts you want though

This driving upside down in a tunnel story has a major flaw for me. If a car can produce 900kg of downforce, and it weighs 900kg, then that makes 1800kg pressing down on the tires, right? If the car ran at the same speed upside down, then surely 900kg is missing from the equation now, as the car's weight is negated by gravity. So would the car only be affecting 900kg on to the tires now? Wouldn't that make the car super sketchy? How would you recover that 900kg of weight pressing on the tires? We don't have any tunnels with tarmac on the ceiling either. I think we need to leave this legend alone.
