I was leaving planet fitness a few weeks back when I saw Sam through the window doing curls. I parked my car right in front and went inside to say hi, we chatted and it ended up taking like 15 minutes. Well, in this time, a tow truck pulled up for my car in the fire lane and had already hooked up before I noticed. Sam went outside, disconnected the tow, picked my car up and moved it to a spot. Such an awesome guy.

12:00 wow the fact that he is still developing technique, STILL learning as he goes instead of most influencers and body builders that are just set in his ways just show how much progress he has for the future. Recognizing technique over ego lifting is a mistake a lot of people overlook instead of making the mind/muscle connection and seeing what works best for them.

Been cutting since last November. Lost almost 100lbs. Decided to take 2 months and focus on building as much muscle as possible. Ive built 10+lbs muscle over last 9 months recomping, but actually gonna try and pack muscle on for first time next 2 months. I tested it last 3 weeks eating 5k calories at 140ish lbs Skeletal Mass (ish cuz inbody fluctuates few lbs depending on my body water) and didn't gain any fat and actually seemingly lost a lb or two KEKW. So gonna try that out for couple months as a kind of reset along w/ just seeing what happens. Ive never lifted in a surplus. Then will cut to 350lbs from November to May 2025. Again, you inspired me bro and I wouldn't have started this, nor my channel without your videos. Watching your vids all summer 2023 helped the idea cook until I pulled the trigger November 2024. Heres to the next Arc. 152 videos =152 workouts last 9 months which is more than all of my life combined many times over. LEZ GOOOO!!!

I'm shooting for 400g protein as i'm 450lbs atm and do alot of fasting and also high protein in deficit has helped me build muscle during this 250lb cut. But I hustle sales so whenever a decent meat goes on sale I buy in bulk and eat on it for awhile. Mostly sirloin tip steaks, pork loin/shoulder roast (great on ketovore) ground beef and chicken legs/thighs and breast. WOuld eat more fish if wild caught wasn't so expensive. But not eating farmed garbage.

I was in the bathroom of that Home Depot listening to a podcast whilst having diarrhea..to make a long story short I met the manager afterward who said the FBI and a hazmat team swiftly arrived to find a tooth on the floor covered in fresh blood of the hardware and tools isle in the hammer section..apparently the tooth is still being investigated

i have same ‘’problem’’ with my triceps, overhead work and focusing on stretch really helped me also switch rope with ez bar or striaght bar on pushdowns for some time, give it a shot

After is preferred by most enlightened lifters. Pre lift cardio can exert energy that would be better served used up during the lift. A seperate cardio session hours prior to the lift however is preferred. Doing it before however will always be better than skipping it entirely.

Serious question, do the zyns negatively affect the gains? I’m probably on the opposite end of your average audience member where I excel in cardio but am new to lifting. Your channel has been my favorite to follow on the topic of gains. I appreciate the pre/post workout talks and you actually showing each exercise and how to perform them. I do like me some zyn though, so I’m curious how it affects the gains. Thank you

Nicotine is a vasoconstrictor, so I guess you will want to avoid it around workout so not to reduce the pump.

I not a Sport person. I am into. Financial management. And I like law enforcement. And I just enjoy the gym. It’s a hobby I guess. Although mostly at present it’s just rehab for me. Bro I think you’re talking about a hobby in the beginning lol, “the thing you lock in to” it’s a hobby! But I definitely agree. If all you do is go to work, come home and watch tv or whatever it is that you do or casually go to the gym and do your standard lift (but don’t make it like a hobby yk) then the days will start blending into each other and before you know it it’ll be time to retire and you’ll wish you spent more time doing something meaningful. This past year I’ve discovered whittling and fishing and I’ve felt dramatically better this year compared to past years. I just feel satisfied you know? Get a hobby! Now don’t force yourself into one, but if you see something and it looks interesting then don’t be afraid to try it! Life is all about trying new things.

Sam how is your blood work CK and CK Mb and those fancy stuff, my mom (doctor) thinks I am crazy for having 482 sometimes usually 300-390 CK and the refference max is 270 for a normal person, but studies say that for athletes, people that play sport the upper limit is 390 for my age and or 488 if I am training really hard for something specific like an athlete of my age.. What do you think? maybe Q&A

Guys i'm want some advice. I've been training for about 1 year now and never trained before and was a bit fat before starting to train. I did a cut for 6 months. Then a dirty bulk for 4 months and cut for 3 months and 2 month maintenance now. I'm at around 15 ish % bodyfat (some visible abs and have some veins but still have some a good amount of fat) should i cut for another 2 months to be in a lower body fat percentage for my next bulk or just dive into the bulk now ? I should say that i have gained most of my muscle in that 4 month bulk and in delaying the next bulk i'm afraid that i'm leaving behind nooby gains. So what's your advice guys? Edit: i'm 176 cm , 71 kg 21 years old
