Nah that reminds me of an old game called silk road online. You could buy little pets with real money and in game currency iirc and they would run around looting everything for you and I believe they also gave you like infinite carry capacity. That game was amazing at its core, just needed some love to get away from the point to click movement. There were trading caravans and thief/bodyguard roles you could play to earn gold outside of normal farming/dungeons etc.

Me and 3 of my friends ran about 20 uber duriels when one of them mentioned the whole petting thing. He got 3 uber uniques in that stretch whereas the other 3 didnt get any. But then again this guy is just lucky in any game he plays. He found like 8 uber uniques before that and one the day after

I know. Its a real game. D4 stripped of set items, because those are skins an now they sell them. As armor sets. Not because it limited build type. Its pathetic what D4 is compared to d2. D2 is a real game.

​@@Quickcat21MK D4 dropped set items because in D3 they led to bad itemization, as they were the only thing you'd ever use, and in D2 95% of sets are useless. It's possible they'll come back. D4 will never be D2, but it's not a bad game nor an "unreal" game. D2 has its issues too. Stamina was an awful design choice. Attack Rating makes melee feel miserable until end game. Overpowered Runewords invalidating almost all other options.

@@Neocorey11 all those D2 issues pale in comparison to the monstrous issues D3 and D4 have because those issues make each sequel game after D2 virtually unplayable. Not to mention both games severely stray from what D1 and D2 were going for.

@@JaGGeR- Definitely not here to defend D3. I hated that game and still think it's blasphemous. I do think D4 is far better and had a much better story in line with D2. I think the genre just evolved. I'd suggest checking out Last Epoch. That game is a load of fun and has itemization closer to D2.

There’s a left over spire from a quest that is in the boss arena at the top of the map. You can activate it and it lights up. Every time the boss is there I tell everyone to activate the good luck shrine at the top. Usually there are at least a few that do it. People ask about it and I tell them… well they left it in for a reason so now every time you’re gonna do it no matter what. lol, it’s kinda like the chat gem in D2. Maybe it does nothing but maybe it does :) Not like world bosses give anything good anyhow though.

Sometimes I seriously think that the people with more gameplay hours have the better luck. Friend of mine has more time to play..so of course more game hours..but when we play together I notice that he's loot 95% of the time rolls better and he gets better unique drops..obviously I know he has more drops overall cuz of course..more game hours..but im mainly speaking about the quality of loot..not quantity. Example..we ran a few uber bosses (lvl200)..some duriels and andys...I got zero uber uniques..while in just a few runs..he got a tyraels..shako and gf sword..and this isn't just D4..thus kinda stuff has been happening with us since d2 days..so it seems..more game time..better quality loot..way better rng..kinda sucks for casuals that want decent loot.

I tried it too. I got 4 uber unique in 10 runs. Think it's just a coincidence. Rob is number 1 click baiter. They just bought 500 runs worth of materials online and did 500 runs. Of course you'll have a full stash tab.
