Central African Republic is one of the areas that major companies mine for Cobalt, Nickel, and Lithium for electric car batteries. I'm surprised this wasn't mentioned in the video? There are big global companies getting involved in Central African Republic (destroying forests, polluting drinking water, using under age workers, etc). This is one of the main reasons different sides (countries) are getting involved in this area.
