YAY!!! That's my wedding anniversary. This show is what started my husband's belief. I can not be more excited for this. My husband kept telling me he would never believe in God or follow him. Then finally he sat down with me and watched the Chosen. He cried and he laughed and I seen a change. He finally accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior July 10, 2022 and was baptized August 28, 2022 and God has done a work in his heart. Thank you for sharing and never allowing others to stop you!!!!!

The beauty of The Chosen, as compared to things on PureFlix and other production houses, is that you can tell this is a project created by filmmakers that love Christianity and not Christians who know little about filmmaking. The series has excellent writing, an excellent cast, amazing understanding of cinematography, and seeks to bring all these great aspects of filmmaking to continually create great Christ-centred media.

The Chosen has amazing insights, and it's ok that there are dramatic embellishments, or it wouldn't be so credible and engrossing. That's what's always missing in most Jesus productions is prayerful and plausible embellishments.

I once heard someone asked God in prayer (can’t remember who it was), if the Chosen was “accurate” and he then proceed that the project - The Chosen has depicts Me (Jesus) and Who I AM (character). So it’s not so much of being “accurate” to the “T” as we all know that there is A LOT that is left out of the The Word of God for reasons only God knows, such as Him growing up. We only know Him from when He preached in the synagogue, then BOOM He’s 30yrs old and on His mission to do what He came to do. We don’t know much of what went on in between those times. The Chosen does a tremendous job in showing people Jesus’s character (His Heart). And THAT is the biggest thing that is missing in religious believers. Many always focus on the external parts and not so much on the heart. And as a believer, I know that God ALWAYS look at the heart of a person above EVERYTHING else in their life. Why? Because out of the heart, the mouth speaks. I can’t wait to watch season 3. Thank you Jesus and God bless🙏🏽

Facts bro I 100% agree. I was raised Christian but never understood how to “love” Jesus. I was having a hard time with that because he’s not physically tangible. I was deep in alcoholism and came across and advertisement on Facebook for the chosen when they were playing season 1 episodes for free on KZbin during Covid. The first episode I was balling like a baby at the end when Jesus called Mary by name. By the end of season 1, I truly understood Jesus’ love for all of us in a way I never had before and I began reading the gospel more and it helped me picture faces and what it might have actually looked like and everything made so much more sense. Learned a lot about Jewish culture which can be crucial to understanding the Bible. God certainly used it as a huge tool in bringing me back to him. Im not sure where I’d be if I hadn’t stumbled across it honestly. It’s advancing Gods kingdom, no doubt about it.

to love is a verb, it requires action. This is why Jesus stated "If you love Me, you will keep My commandments". Hollywood has filled our heads with fairytale love stories so we equate love to a "gushy feeling". This is a deception friend. This is the deception that has caused millions of marriages to fail.. I would love them to do the book of Acts...I think they would do an excellent job on it. & I also would love a series finale of showing how far the gospel has spread since..like a fast foward to present day. Everyone needs to watch this series. The Chosen is without a doubt, Holy Spirit driven. I cried every episode as well. It felt personal whenever Jesus forgave and healed someone, I felt like he was talking to me because it's so relatable.

I think the scene with Mary crying might be either a fast-forward scene, like they did for season2 episode 1 or that scene where Jesus family confronts him and calls him crazy, and he proclaims those that follow Gods word is His family. There is so much more to cover before we get to the crucifixion

I see and notice all the unbiblical or extrabiblical things about the show but as an actual Christian who already knows the word, I can simply seperate the wheat from chaff and enjoy that which honors God. What concerns me are the people watching in ignorance. For me personally though, I can benefit from the good parts of it bc Ik where the bad is. How they made Jesus trailed off when sin came up w/ Nicodemus, the excessive presence of Mary and how she spurned his start to ministry which is ridiculous and undermining to the wisdom and foreknowledge of God. Etc. Lot of things I can harp on with varying degrees of seriousness. But seeing some momemts brought to life are very edifying. Peter with the fishes for example. And I think Ruslan has a point, better than the alternatives

The Chosen came at a perfect time in my life and rekindled a fire in me to get back into the word. Little did I know that God would also use this show to open the eyes of a coworker who was an unbeliever, We need to not assume that everyone knows God the way that you do. She came from a family that did not go to church and had no spiritual or religious background, she didn’t know anything about God other than what she has seen on movies and tv shows she wasn’t raised as a believer. In 2019 in a conversation she asked me what I was watching and I told her The Chosen and I took an opportunity to share with her what the show was about and I never suggested she should watch it I, I just gave a summary of the show and left it at that. A few weeks later in the office she came to me and told me she had watched the whole first season of the chosen and she couldn't stop thinking about it and something keeps tugging to know more, we know what that something was, it was the Holy Spirit drawing her in. She then said that she doesn't know anyone who has read the bible. We started to read the bible together in 2019 now 2022 she is saved, a believer and loves the word of God and was recently married in the last few weeks to another believer.

Appreciate you bro! Totally agree, I come from a reformer fundamentalist viewpoint and I absolutely love the Chosen!! Hollywood has been putting out their versions of biblical content for years, those who know the word, know! So I’m not looking to this for theological content, but if I’m going to watch something, absolutely this is worth watching!! And as always with Jesus, nothing is wasted!!! The amount of souls that will be coming home, priceless. To God be the Glory for the great things He continues to do!!!

My husband and I love the Chosen but I agree, it’s a lot to watch in one chunk. I definitely want to see it in theaters but I won’t wear makeup to it lol. We saw the Christmas special last year and were the only ones in the theater. We’re hoping to take a bunch of people along with us!

I absolutely adore The Chosen!!! It has helped me comprehend a little more and to get a better understanding of the disciples and what it must have been like to follow Christ. This show is brilliant and I absolutely believe the Holy Spirit is all over this. Such a Blessing! ❤🙏

I love the Chosen I have prayed and read a bible but never understood what I was reading after watching this show Ive been closer to Christ then ever I find myself praying way more then ever it has help me understand many things that I could not understand before the thing is maybe everything is not wrote exactly as it was but every Bible is not the same either and if Im 58 and now paying more attention to Christ the Lord my savior maybe others are as well and Im in hopes it catches the younger generations as well ty for your great channel and points on the Chosen😊

My belief is season 6 is the crucifixtion and 7 deals with the aftermath…..I’m crying just watching the trailer. Like you, I need a box of Kleenex, also love the humor! I’m 67, got saved at 16, and The Chosen has inspired me to read the Word everyday, to witness, to reset my priorities and live for Him everyday with purpose. We live in stormy times but I find refuge and safety in our wonderful Lord!

Even way before The Chosen, and the way Jonathan the Actor who plays as Jesus presented and portrayed our Lord Jesus as is…. Is just well done! I’ve walk with the Lord since I was 14, I! I’m now 21 yrs old… My love for God continues to grow as I get to partake in sharing The Good News, I can say “The Chosen” is a great way to learn from someone who maybe looking into our God. I don’t binge either. I can’t. God talks to me through every episode. I only watch when I feel prompted by the Holy Spirit. And He will stop me too if I’m running ahead to another episode it’s not time to watch yet. And every. time. There’s a lesson, a conviction, insight, He’s showing me something. Often He’s tying together something He’s been talking to me about over the course of weeks. It’s taken me over a year to watch and I still haven’t finished season 2 😂

I watched Season ones first 2 episodes and it was powerful, unfortunately I haven't watched any other episodes, I don't watch a lot of TV especially when it's school time, college takes all of my time outside of work and Church.
