I'm glad to see the next part of this series. I really like Yellow's story. I actually found her journey more interesting than Red's. My favorite part of her journey is being able to accept change and allowing her Pokemon to evolve in order to defeat Lance and save everyone.

I remember seeing someone a long time ago say that Yellow is the worst protagonist because she's so weak and doesn't know anything, but i disagree. I see her as a good character, and also the perfect surrogate character for younger siblings just learning about pokemon.

This chapter is incredible, Yellow’s showdown with Lance is one of the greatest battles in all of Pokémon, and every character has a critical role to play. Hard to believe Hidenori Kusaka was able to top this one!

I think one of my favorite parts of the manga is how the characters use thier pokemon's natural abilities alongside thier moves in battle it makes battles feel more strategic and exicting

The adventure series as always given me the feel what a Pokémon battle is more than the early anime. The some times fatal looking moves feel like we are in nature and when ever a pokeball is broken feel so realistic.

Volume 1 was a heckuva ride! Reading Yellow had me heartbroken for the whole arc. Pikachu is obviously being all Sad Panda due to its and Red's separation. It really got me hard in the feels. I guess it's to the writer's credit (w/help from the artist, too!) that the story gets the reader so invested in the characters that you smile when they smile, you hurt when they hurt, ect. So, wth do I know. 😅

Adventures is such a good story, in comparison to the Show/Games. Not that the others are 'bad', just the manga is so good. Glad it exists and glad to see it covered with love. Yellow is great, she has some more MVP moments iirc. Excited for the Crystal episode, she's the real underappreciated GOAT of Pokemon Adventures, at least as far as Prof. Oak is concerned.

I first read this one already knowing what was going to happen so wasn’t ever truly surprised by anything, especially the gender reveal twist. I was also rushing through it to get to the arc I was actually excited for so wasn’t taking much time to truly appreciate what was on show, I remember treating it like a distracting side quest between the two main arcs that I actually cared about (the translation I read also insisted on some weird choices with self congratulatory explanations that were incredibly distracting) so I was never much of a fan at the time. I recently re-read the whole thing, taking a bit more time and was surprised at how strong this arc was. It is step up from the first arc, building on everything that had been established whilst continuing some of the environmental themes. It really feels like the writer was relishing being unshackled from the strict confines of the game narrative and really letting his imagination run wild. I was actually blown away by some of the art in this chapter which never happened with the first arc. That image of Yellow, held aloft by Kitty as she launches Megavolt at Lance is stunning. It’s now one of my favourites.
