I have been sharing the Conversation Project with financial advisors at the presentations I have given in Tampa, Boston, Indianapolis, Milwaukee, New York and Philadelphia. I plan to continue doing so until financial advisors all over the country are introducing the Conversation Project to their clients.

This is one of the most important conversations we can have. When i had it with my kids they were relived even though they both were a little dismissive saying i was too young for this (70) I have seen a great deal of unnecessary suffering in my private practice with the bereaved as a result of their not knowing what their loved one wanted. It's hard enough to lose someone you love but then to second guess the care decisions you had to make as caregiver is a whole other level of suffering that takes a long time to heal

Have definitely had the conversations, with all loved ones except one who was a dear friend who passed suddenly from a massive stroke nobody expected, but even that situation went well. I did not know any of his family, but one mutual friend knew his brother and we simply took it from there.
