You get it. Reason is because Dolores is the real deal, authentic, whether she's singing with Cranberries, Pavarotti or on her own, her heart is in her singing. I love all the Cranberries songs but the one that gets me most is 'It's You'. Dolores sings about driving in the car with her father. Brings me back to when I was driving in the car with my father. This album came out a few months before my father died in 1996, and it was so perfect for my feelings of grief particularly with the first major loss in my life. I remember going to the mall and buying the CD within a few days after his passing, and the entire album spoke to me as it seems to with you.
