I was a Probation officer in Iowa mid 90s. Had a guy come from court. He got a DUI 2nd 2 yrs Probation I read the police report. He got drunk and crashed into a tractor trailer. Killed the guy driving. I was shocked. I called the prosecutor and he said the other guy was drunk driving the tractor trailer. I never understood the rational. Iowa is a very liberal state.

How I managed to not hear about the Colin Whelan case after spending my whole life in Dublin is something I'll never know. I can't believe he decided to hide out in one of the most popular tourist destinations for Irish people, and worked a job that specifically meant interacting with tourists. Guy must have a truly remarkable ego.

Yeah, they cause me a lot of anxiety. Unsolved cases are very fascinating, but I can't stand to have everything left open like that, especially if the cases are from decades ago. The chances of those cases going cold and never being solved are too high, meaning I'll likely never get the answers to a single question my brain desperately wants to know.

Yeah drinking and driving wasn't a real problem until the '90s or 2000s depending on where you were in the US anyway. And even then it's not like there aren't serial DUI offenders who still have a license. They're just in severe debt

Bud was probably born into the right family but got buggered by uncle whomever behind the barn on fine day in the 40s and that whole wheel of tragedy spins on. It is unusual that such a person really is from a community's "right family", but this is the sort of thing that can prevent justice for decades to come. I don't live too far from Paulding and have been there a time or two and if you were in that county in an era before universal information, these things would be easy to do. I hope a conclusion comes someday.

I love your videos last year i was truck driving in april i died... i was dedicated to your videos you got me thru many years of trucking otr thru the nights was the best i loved your videos the diving of vortex springs and other cave and creepy disappear storys anyway i had a seizure and died woke up in a hosoital 4 days later came out of a medically indused coma to keep me alive.. its wild im alive to keep hearing your videos im so happy thank you for your videos its creepy to be on the other side to have peace when i was gone it was peaceful then i came back to broken ribs and pain and hair loss and 8 months of rehab and by choice i release or lost my license i domt wanna hurt the public if im medically not safe so i reported myself and downgraded my license but its wild now hesring about dead now ive died... 😢😅

Is the thumbnail AI? It looks to be, given that the car door is curved when it should be straight at the window. I appreciate the narration and stories themselves are not AI, but the claim that no AI is used seems to be disingenuous if the thumbnail is AI. I may be wrong of course

I think he has said he uses it for some of the background images which he did discuss. But I was meaning the fact that he’s a human who still narrates his own content. I’m sure he’s being doing this since before Chat GPT was available and I haven’t noticed a change in his writing style. It’s possible he uses it for to aid script writing but if he does, he’s definitely going through it to edit it so that it’s coherent and not repetitive. The script isn’t
