OK The Curry that’s SHOCKED the WORLD - Garlic Chili Chicken is a bit of a SILLY one really but shows you can use KETCHUP as an ingredient in some curry’s - the purists will be turning over - whilst I stuff my face.
Now I will say Ketchup is NOT a substitute for tomato paste/puree when making curries normally - but some curries like Vindaloo, Garlic Chili Chicken even Madras can be made with Ketchup - any curry that is sweet, sour and tomatoey.
Let me know if you use ketchup in any of your curries even if you add ketchup with tomato paste - and many do!

Taking Cooking food back to basics.
Ingredients
1 large chicken breast cubed into 6-8 pieces
2 tbsp blended garlic paste - won’t lie one will probably do
6 tbsp blended cooked liquidised onions - watch the madras video -
4 - 5 cloves garlic thin sliced
4 green chillies chopped
1 tbsp curry powder or mix powder
1 tsp coriander powder
½ tsp cumin powder
¼ tsp garam masala
¼ tsp turmeric
1 heaped tsp chilli powder - tone it down if you can’t take the heat
3 - 4 heaped tbsp TOMATO KETCHUP - see note
2 slices fresh tomato
1/2 tsp Kaoori methi
1/2 tsp salt
coriander optional
NOTE: Ketchup can be added even in the finished dish if you like more tomato ketchup taste - ie sweet, sour, tomato.
