White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders responded Thursday to the mounting concerns by announcing that Trump has scheduled a physical health exam. Meanwhile, Pentagon leaders last month told a Senate panel they would ignore any unlawful order by the president to launch a nuclear strike. The testimony came as part of the first congressional hearings in more than 40 years on the president’s authority to start a nuclear war. We speak with Dr. Bandy Lee, a forensic psychiatrist on the faculty of Yale School of Medicine and an internationally recognized expert on violence. She edited the best-selling book, “The Dangerous Case of Donald Trump: 27 Psychiatrists and Mental Health Experts Assess a President.”

If we used age as a determining factor for political involvement then, by your definition, Gerry Brown would not be able to serve and he has done quite a respectable job leading the state of California. There have always been concerns as to whether or not Trump was fit to serve as president well before his election victory and inauguration. His first 11 months should be glaring evidence that he is not Furthermore, given increasing speculation about his health, the fact that his father had dementia, the erratic behavior he has demonstrated in speeches and tweets, and slurring of words in his address the other day, I believe he should have a complete medical exam and battery of mental tests to see if there is anything more extensive beneath the surface going on with him health wise.
