Amazing that Danny could tell the little girls to go down to Centrak Park and play. Imagine doing that now! Centuries away from today.

Can we talk about how ADORABLE that little Ginny Tiu was? That smile on her face while she was playing 12th Street Rag was just about the cutest thing I've ever seen, OMG. 02:32

4:10 what she said was "I'd like to come over and play a lot" in Hokkien, she was a real life child prodigy who started playing piano at 3 years old. Just looked her name up on IMDB and accidentally found out she's of Hokkien descent just like my maternal family.

Every comment in tge episode mentions Marvin Miller but not a word about the little girl. Her name is Ginny Tiu abd she wnd her siblings were VERY huge musical prodegies years ago and played just as well as she did un this episode. Besides being adorable, she could make vrhwr piano SMOKE with the fast numbers she played so expertly! NOW YOU KNOW. Comparing this Martin guy ti ger, he was a dud.

Marvin Miller starred in another show. "The Millionaire." He wore Chinese makeup in this episode. kzbin.info/www/bejne/j6u4ZJVmeLV0bpY

Not stereotypes at all that's how nearly every Hokkien parent is you probably had read books written by Amy Chua. There are Chinese in restaurants and Chinese in research institutes who actually speak different languages/dialects.

I never understood why in this episode they didn't use a chinese actor to play her father instead of Marvin Miller. While he is a fine actor, I just don't thnk he fit this part very well.

The make up job on marvins eyes was scary enough but the chinese accent seemed more like a stalag 13 guard

Maybe no Chinese actors WANTED the role.

Or better yet, her REAL father. I guess many people knew who she waa right off by the applause they gave her when she entered the house.

Glad her dad changed his way cause i can't stand parents who don't let their kids be kids
