Maureen O'Hara was an opera singer and the best of the dramatic and western actresses ever. Great to see this movie again.

Maurin O Hara, with her devastatingly beautiful looks, performed a stellar role, though Keith's tongue-in-cheek acting combined with his wistful eyes, carried out the required sombreness the theme needed. Nothing compared to the likes of "Straw Dogs"! The American Wild West is truly filmed.

Never had seen this one but the cast caught my attention - gorgeous Maureen O’Hara & Brian Keith - omG Parent Trap is an absolute favorite movie bc of their adorable chemistry! Then right away i see “Drago” aka Chill Wills - another favorite … then as the cast is scrolling i notice my #1 all time favorite: Strother Martin!! lol three minutes in and already in ❤️! Haven’t been excited ab a movie in a long time! Wish me luck! 🤞🏻🤟🏼

Slower than some like but actually worth it. More a character study than western action. Maureen O' Hara, her brother Charles B. Fitzsimons (the film's producer) and writer A.S. Fleischman formed Carousel Productions in order to get the film made.

This is truly the first movie directed by SP?? it may be a trifle slow at times, but for a first film it's quite amazing. I've yet to see any of those others, as I don't think they're on youtube but knowing what I know 3rd hand about them, i think i can see the direct link from this one. Slow isn't exciting, but only the best directors can make slow at least watchable, and this one has it.
