Is that some sort of internal sidechain compression between the kick/pad at 10:10 or is that Heat on the output or something?
@grillskillz7 жыл бұрын
I was wondering the same thing. It sounds amazing.
@MrCowfood7 жыл бұрын
the "active" light on the heat is off. But that is not to say that some post wasn't done on this - this is my guess.
@MrCowfood7 жыл бұрын
That said, it was minimal post work imo. digitakt already has a delicious sound for it to come out like this.
@BlackRegent016 жыл бұрын
Possibly done by increasing the attack time of the amp envelope on the synth sample. It sounds like its ducking when really its just a bit quieter at the start of each synth hit
@lbarnett7486 жыл бұрын
The speed of that finger operation. That’s takes getting use to. I thought the video was speeded up at first until I saw the step sequencer. Lol.

@MySilver5oh7 жыл бұрын
Fantastic! Is the bass really that deep on this machine? I once owned a machinedrum which imo, sounded thin but that's probably my lack of programming/tweaking skills. This thing sounds beastly! I see the Analog Heat off to the right and I thought maybe it's adding beef to the sound but it looks like it isn't even turned on. Or maybe it's the quality of the samples?
@daikuone7 жыл бұрын
Would love to see how you would use the Digitakt with the Rytm in particular. How would you use Midi in this case, and both together in terms of sequencing?

These videos makes me want to buy some kind of hardware so bad.. I've been making music occasionally for fun since 13 but only using DAW. Now I'm thinking about spending 500-1000$ on some gear. Was thinking about Arturia Microbrute + Korg Volca Bass for the beginning. What do you guys think? Would love to get into modular stuff too, but that's too expensive as it starts from 800$ for extremely basic setup and can get expensive to no limits.

Aight, I'm just fucking getting one - deliberations are over. If I can make shit like this on a Digitakt then I need it immediately. I love my Model:Samples, but tried getting into electric guitar - bought tons of new stuff, and don't enjoy it, so it's all getting sold and I'm getting a nice upgrade to the limited Samples groovebox. I already have all the good samples to stick into it, so I'm sold.
