The Doors were among the most controversial & influential rock acts of the 1960s, mostly due to Jim Morrison's lyrics & voice. "Riders On The Storm" is my favorite song by them but they had a lot of hits including "The End", "Roadhouse Blues", "Break On Through (To The Other Side)", "Love Me Two Times", "L.A. Woman", "Hello, I Love You", "Touch Me", "The Unknown Soldier", "Love Her Madly". Sadly Jim Morrison died in 1971 at the age of only 27 but left a great legacy of music.

Classic song for the Doors diehards. Maybe not well known, but certainly well liked. It is not everyones cup of tea.....listen to "Cars hiss by my window" by the Doors ....a very cruisy blues number. Love your honest reactions. For a change maybe try Brian Justin Crum singing anything. Brilliant on his own with "Creep" (AGT).....duet with Matt Bloyd singing a very emotional "Tell Him" cover... or Rise with Superfruit... you won't be sorry and you will have found another rabbit hole to explore.

I think a riot or rioting may have inspired the song. The democratic national convention that became a riot was in 68, and this song was released in 1970. BTW I found Jim at 13 and at 52 after a dna test and much research I determined he is my cousin. People who are fans of react vids may have seen me comment this before. haha, I"m real proud of my cousin. Have always felt a connection.

One of my favourite Doors songs from off my favourite Doors album, Morrison Hotel. Another good one is "When the Music's Over". The finish of Peace Frog was abrupt because on the album, it immediately flows into "Indian Summer".

I have often requested people to react to Johnny and Edgar Winter “Tobacco road” live but no one has. I’m wondering if you might?

It was played a lot in The Waterboy with Adam Sandler. Lol. Don't really know why. I heard it was about riots and possibly abortion, also about the accident that Jim witnessed as a child where some Indians had died in New Mexico, that i know for sure.

Hello guys, personally I am not to familiar with this particular song. But they do have some really great songs. Two of my personal favorites is "Riders on the Storm" and "Touch Me" However, I would like to leave another suggestion, if interested. "John Prine and Iris Dement - In Spite of Ourselves (Live From Sessions at West 54th)" he is one of the all time greatest storytellers. I really think you both will enjoy this one. You guys rock~Thanks and Take care 👏💖🎶

The song is about abortion among many images, but abortion, nonetheless.
