Man those massive suitcase style resos are ludacris, and was one of the first mods on my SRT8 when I got it. When considering the wt difference of a good set of racing pipes, replacing them is a performance upgrade alone and especially when it's a dual system. I went with SLP loudmouths from the cat's back, and breathes so much better now. They eliminate the reso's and are pretty much like straight piping, but better because they increase the overall diameter to 3" and sound amazing. They have 2 open chamber racing bullets for mufflers, and is one of the best first mods that you can do with your Challenger. Especially when adding headers, throttle body & CAI, along with a good tune and really do work best together as a whole. Don't have the headers or throttle body yet, but it is diablo tuned and noticed a difference right away 💪🏼😎

Borla Atak Catback exhaust is the best sounding exhaust on a challenger by far. I have one on my 2019 sxt and it sounds like a race car now

I took off both my resonators on my 2017. But I want it to sound even DEEPER than what it sounds now so I'm going Borla. Everyone says to go Borla but I guess it depends on preference.

I have both resonators deleted on mine with flow master super 10’s mufflers and I fool a lot of people (not car people) into thinking it’s a v8 at idle at least. After you start driving it sounds like a vacuum cleaner, but it’s not bad and has little to no drown on the highway.

Where is the resonator located? In the middle of car or at the end? Midas guy told me mufflers are right next to the tailpipe.

I already got a full solo performance exhaust to install, but the point of the video was its easy and free, my biggest point being a free exhaust mod. And it actually sounds pretty decent for being free and retaining your factory exhaust.
