Only thing I don't like is the trigger tbh. But I've heard there is an after market trigger available by someone? I mean it works, just I'd like a two stage heavier weight trigger, over the almost not there single stage trigger.

@ekim andersom I'm happy with my purchase anyway, fits nicely in a box on the front of the quad. It's the rifle you can have with you where you wouldn't usually have one, still use my fx wildcat for when I've actually planned on going hunting.

the Edgun caught my eye Thomas Craig the £1100 price tag made them water. i have owned an air arms s410 tdr for 10 years whilst it lacks the fun of the single shot EDgun; i would always suggest the 410 tdr, it is almost faultless and a serious accurate air rifle, not my favourite but probably the best i have.

I shall be watching for the next video, Lloyd. The idea of such a small, light, handy little gun is fine (never mind that it looks good), but I'm very curious about how accurate it is out to a realistic hunting range of 30 to 40 yds here in the UK. The barrel length must be quite short. This would be a great little gun for ratting and knocking over rabbits from a car, perhaps. I'm sure you'll tell us which pellets give the best results, too. Enjoyed this vid, thanks.

Its about 2 months over due sorry. Been really busy , but after watching Ted's hold overs review I have to say his gun must have been faulty as we are getting miles better groups. Planning on going to the range this or next week and doing our own videod testing :)

I want one. The only issue I have, is that when the stock is folded, there is no cover to keep things clean. Could do with a couple of rubber caps or something.

Not something that has caused an issue and we have been selling them now for over 2 years. Most people put them in a case when not shooting which should keep the gun clean . You can also store the gun unfolded if you are worried about dirt ingress. Cheers.

Great review...how reliable did the cocking mechanism turn out did the seal last after all that cocking and uncocking and has any one shoot a finger off yet with the short fore end...

We have tried to resolve the issues with FX but we are getting nowhere . Other dealers with the same issues are also coming out of the woodwork now so I think FX will just resolve the issues eventually without any statement or admission from them , as with previous guns. I think the solution is to simply not buy an FX for a year after a model announcement.

It can't be de-cocked when folded . I would be leaving it in the unfolded position for storage.

I think it is pronounced. Less-she.. My SN is 467.. And I love it. 3000 rnd, sofar. And once I got a Bug Buster scope,, same hole at 10 meters... I use a Air Venturi hand pump. Less than 1.5 strokes per pellet. It is a tool, and most people would not use a brick for eye surgery. I just know, I still grin every time I use it. Bunnies? Not so much.

Actually there is no definition of what an air pistol is the the Firearms Act. The 600mm overall length or 300mm barrel length definition specifically excludes air weapons in the firearms act.

Section 5(1)(aba) - "any firearm which either has a barrel less than 30 centimetres in length or is less than 60 centimetres in length overall, other than an air weapon" - it specifically excludes "Air Weapons", but if it didn't, then all of the HW97K's you have in stock would also fall foul of the law because they have a barrel less than 30cm. I looked into this in depth, and actually there is no definition in the Firearms act of what an Air Pistol is.

In the FX range I love the Wildcat but really don't like the Impact. In the Edgun range the Leshiy is a stunning performer and I am also partial to the Matador, but my all out favourite is the AGT Uragan, just bought one and love it . Umarex Hammer isn't imported into the UK :(

We'd love them to be £600 too. What is amazing and quite strange is the performance from these guns, it surprised us . They genuinely perform as well as any other sporting gun on the market and they are totally unique. Brillaint gun and seem to be universally loved by every owner .

$1300 is £1077 at the moment so weirdly we are not much different to the US apart from the missing case which I'll be speaking to Edgun about today .

There's a video on Edgun's channel about the case. Supposed to save shipping weight and therefore reduce price, along with the composite buttpad- used to be metal. Has done that in Russia but a strong ruble and weak dollar and pound have basically kept the price the same as the older one with the case for now. Edgun USA will also be receiving the caseless ones now. Just still selling off his older Mark I stock I expect.

A rifle that's much like a pistol with a butt stock on it. One guy already put a pellet through his finger joint. Shattered it. Better to not even think of it as a rifle. Use your pistol handling skills. If you're not paying full full attention shooting your hand could be pretty easy.

Yes you are right. This gun demands good gun handling and a safety conscious attitude , but so do all guns. Complacency leads to accidents . I think a forward hand stop ( aftermarket) will help .

All is ok about this rifle but as a completely commercial project oriented for the western junks the price of this piece is extremely high. The production of aluminium alloys and other plastic and low quality alloys used in it is cheap. You will be impressed by its shape or by the first shots, but... the materials used are cheap, nothing is durable and reliable, nothing will work at active use. If toy are a collector who use guns for the demos only it will be ok for you. You wanna pay 1000 (one thousand) bucks for this toy.

furthmore , the only advantage I can see with this ( rifle ?? ) is if your hunting rats in a telephone booth .. when I watched the first part of the vid , I thought " hey " that looks ok , recon I could knock a few tins down in the back garden with that , should be GREAT for an outlay of around £100 ... how shocked I was , when I learned it was £1000 + it was like being punched in the jaw by mike tyson .. or waking up next too niccola sturgeon ... You would think so , but TDR sales are pretty much dead and Leshiy sales are through the roof. A lot of people don't mind spending the extra. They are a unique and fantastic rifle, and even though the TDR is probably better value and better specced it doesn't always tell the full story. Personally I would take the Leshiy any day :)

These small +carbine with folding or telescopic stocks are gonna do 1 thing, put more laws on our already bullied shooting community, leave it as a nice long rifle with some nice Italian etchings on the stock, that's what I call a nice rifle not these skeletal FX and ED gun ones. That being said they do have nicer ones but these ain't good for our community as at the moment only criminals are allowed guns as they the ones who don't give a shit for the law whereas me and others take the hit. I ain't watched the whole vid yet but that should be classed as a sub 6ft/lbs pal.
