This is Movement 02 of The 8 Movement Shaolin Qigong - Ba Duan Jin ( 8 Pieces of Brocade or 8 Pieces of Silk). It 's called Drawing The Arrow.
Baduanjin is the complete set of Qigong Exercise. It is a major influence of world medicine. Practicing this set of Qigong will help us to balance energies, heal and prevent a lot of diseases and make our body and mind happy and healthy.

I have been suffering from anxiety/ panic attacks and been trying to learn qigong for few days in order to build a stronger resistance against the stress.But for some reason when i do any movement in horse stance position my heart starts to race which gives me anxiety.Is the racing heart normal during the exercise? Greetings from Berlin

dear Friend, depend on different people have different health's issue. and because you are not used to it, maybe.... when you work out, and exercise with new movements, some time we try too hard , or try to remember.... , and make us tired..... please relax, and you can try with the other movements as well, if you like... you may try some video about qigong for breathing, make you breathe more relax and rested: kzbin.info/www/bejne/qZC7fGd4r9uhq9U&ab_channel=QigongMeditation or you can try some qigong massage with sitting position: kzbin.info/www/bejne/f56pi4uFoahrgdE&ab_channel=QigongMeditation remember, when you practice with horse Stance movement, if you feel tired in long period of time, please rest a little, and practice slowly. thank you so much. hopefully they can help you..
