These are all my questions about their world. I wrote these before I saw the movie so sorry if there's something that actually got answered. Emoji Movie Questions -in the trailer u can see houses and buildings,benches,trees,fire hydrants,etc., so how come those emojis aren't alive? They are emojis so can no one use them? But that's not true cause look 🏠 -Who was the first emoji? -Is there an emoji god? -How do emojis reproduce? -Do emojis need to eat? -If they do, do they eat the food emojis? -In the trailer we see Poop go to the bathroom;why would a poop emoji go to the bathroom? Can they only go pee? Do they actually poop and that's how poop emojis reproduce? So a poop emoji can have offspring at any age? -Is the poop emoji even actual poop? He doesn't seem to smell or make a mess. -What emoji is Jailbreak? -Is Jailbreak an emoji abortion? -Can other emojis poop? If so, did they just create an emoji that's isn't the same emoji they are? What happens then, do they abandon it? -So clearly Gene had other emotions, so are u telling me that no other emoji in the history of emojis has experienced a different emotion? -Not even when they are first born, they still don't experience a different emotion? Like straight outta the womb? -Do emojis have wombs? -Do emojis have have genitals? -Boy emojis have no clothes? -Wait if they do have genitals and had to wear clothes, do they wear the clothes emojis? -How come Jailbreak wears clothes? Her clothes aren't the clothes emojis! -Is there an emoji religion? -Do emojis have genders -Did they build there city or did the buildings just appear? -Smiller says she's the first emoji but we clearly see the emoticons who are technically the first ones and are much older. -Is this a mistake or is what Smiller trying to say is her ancestor was the first one? -I mean I sorta get what she's saying, she is the first one cause she is the most simple? Or she is the first one on the keyboard? -We clearly see Alex using his keyboard and that's how he picks the emoji to get scanned, so is there living letters? -Are there living numbers?? -Do emojis have organs? -Do emojis die? -Do they become the ghost emoji? -Can they leave the phone? -Why is the gavel emoji apart of the head emoji Team thing with Smiller in the trailer? -A gavel doesn't seem important enough of an emoji to be on it? -Is there even a gavel emoji? -Is Steve Jobs like the emojis god? -When the phone company gets rid of an emoji does it die? Does it go into retirement? -We see that the emoticons are old, but people still use them so are they the only old ones? -Is the old man/lady emoji actually old? How come they don't go in retirement? -If we are being realistic here, shouldn't the emojis be as years old as when they first appeared? Like genes parents, their middle-aged I guess, but is that realistic depending on when emojis first came out? -How do emojis know their emojis? -Isn't it sorta a form of slavery that the emojis, in control of their user, have to act a certain way and do the same action everyday if they are chosen their whole life? -What if someone spams emojis? Do they scan them like 100 times? Do they get tired after that? -U know those make ur own emoji apps? Well how do those fit in to Textopolis? -Is Textopolis the name of every Emoji town on every phone? -Do the emojis know that they are just one in a billion other emojis of the same kind? -Do emojis know what music is? -Do emoji know how to read? There is a book emoji but that's it. There is only one type of book in the whole town!!? -Is Textopolis more of a town or world? -What if my phone goes in water? Do they all drown? -Are the animal emojis treated like regular emojis or animals? -Do they talk? -How do emojis know English? -Can emojis see ur camera roll? -Do emojis know when u send a person texts like this 👉👌💦🍑🍆? -Do emojis celebrate holidays? They have holiday emojis sooo -Is the Santa emoji the Santa in that world? Is he forced to give people stuff? Santas not real tho -Is this emoji 💦actually water? -Is the gun emoji really a gun? -Can emojis be gay? There are different sexuality emojis but what if a non different sexuality emoji wants to be let's say gay? Do they not allow him to!!?? Jeez Emoji Movie! -Wait, that's also brings up, what if the different sexuality emojis don't want to be that sexuality!!?? These emojis are forced to be a certain sexuality!!! Oh my god!! -Do emojis have to follow the religion of their user? -If that is so, how do they treat the Christmas emojis if they are Jewish? -Do emojis know their are countries? -Do they know the countries? -Do the flag emojis know that they are the flag of a country? -Can emojis get sick? -What if an emoji does get sick, do the other emojis try to help them or do they ban them cause they are being a different "emotion" -Don't u think it's unfair how emojis that are objects can basically be themselves but the faces can't? -So emojis have eyes and lips etc. but how come those aren't the eyes and lips emojis? -What if an emoji like this 🤥makes a big mistake or gets in trouble cause they lied? They can't help it there forced to be that way! -If two different emojis have kids what's the kid like? Is it a mutant? Does get banned? -Do u think it's sorta messed up how two of the same emojis have to get married just cause they are the same emoji. They might despise each other or one could've tried to kill the other but they still have to marry. -We see that emojis can leave Textopolis and go into different apps, but can let's say a character in an app leave the app? -Why is James Cordon in this? -How come Hi-5 can't have hands? -Is Hi-5 even a real hand? -How does a religious emoji like the Santa, get along with the devil emoji? U know what I'm saying right? -Does this emoji 🤳which is holding a phone have its own Textopolis? -For emojis like the basketball player, bike rider, surfer, etc don't they have to always hold their certain objects or ride a bike? Otherwise they might be imitating another emoji? Done

No one cares about emojis. Sure if you make them characters and all it could be good, but there would be no real reason for the story to make them emojis. I have three things to say for the Emoji Movie: 1. They could've done the other emojis (food, buildings, etc.) that can have multiple feelings vs. the emotion Emojis. That would've been a better plot than this copy and paste. 2. I'm pretty sure internet trolls aren't viruses and I don't know how Sony got this wrong considering they have another department that has to do with online. 3. I guess this movie appeals to ghost kids. XD

This is the definition of a consistently bad movie. The MST3K guys mentioned that for them to do a movie, there has to be SOMETHING in there that is decent: an actor trying their best, or a plot that is actually decent, or fun special effect, or something. It acts as a contrast to all the other badness in the movie. Otherwise, your brain desensitizes it, and you stop feeling anything, and it's all just bleh. Interestingly enough, the Nazis figured this out with torture: if you consistently torture someone, the human body just stops feeling it. BUT - if you hit your prisoner up with pleasure (say, a hit of nitrous oxide), then the body's sensitivity resets itself, and you can continue to torture them more effectively.

:) Well, based on how Andre came out of it? Yeah, it kinda was. But it was the ineffective kind of torture, as there wasn't anything to contrast the pain of having to sit through it. It's one of those weird things were, had parts of it been a bit better, it would have been worse - just because there would have been enough contrast to make the bad parts even more memorable.

My brother invited our church youth group to this movie, (For some reason 8 people from this group showed up) and I was going to post on Facebook that we were going to see it. When I was putting it on Facebook, one of the workers at the theatre came up to me and said "Is that the 'I'm going to see the emoji movie text'?" 😂 Also, I think I had the same ghost child sitting behind me when I saw it. Except the only difference was they were sympathizing with the characters
