Don’t forget that Ronnie wanted Keyboards in Escape the Fate, but the other members didn’t want them. Thus Carson Allen’s quick departure. Also! It’s why you hear a keyboard solo in Raised by Wolves and lots of keys in songs like Sink or Swim and early Falling in reverse
@LS-gh8cy4 жыл бұрын
Truth. Eyes Like Diamonds is a local Vegas band Ronnie was trying to help get signed before he went to jail. Look them up. They had keyboards. And the sound of ELD is kind of like if Falling in Reverse and Escape the Fate had a baby.

i thought i was hallucinating this second part lmao i don't blame the dude for being so angry and feeling so betrayed. he was locked up for two years and the people he thought would be there for him (specially Green), just kept going and never bothered to talk to him (though it does makes sense why, later on). like, the dude is locked up, he can't meet up with you, the least they could've done is call the guy. not only did he have to deal with the withdrawals, but the entire mental duress that being locked up does to a person that didn't even deserve to take the blame for a murder someone else committed, that shit stays with them forever. ETA: the person/people that kept feeding him just blatant lies were sick. why have enemies when you've got that kind of shitty people around you that are only there to keep you down. and that stage incident with Green.......... good lord, that must've been traumatic for the fans to witness. i'm not even a fan and just seeing that was terrifying. the end of this was just so amazing to see. i'm so glad ronnie was able to heal and process his anger. i hope he continues to grow and keeps himself healthy. drug addiction is terrifying to see someone go through, i've lost a friend due to it, so it was really great to see someone get out of that. hope everyone is keeping safe out there right now. take care of yourselves and those you love.

Escape The Fate was the first band I ever listened to in this genre of music, with that being said that were and still are my favorite band. Their music got me through the hardest time of my life to be honest. I'm super excited you uploaded this video today, I'm stuck at work stressed out and super upset because today is 2 years that my dad has passed away and I'm so very appreciative you worked on this video and uploaded it. I'm only like 5 minutes in but I knows its gonna be great and get me through the last couple hours of work. EDIT: I don't know why it gotten taken in the way it did, but somehow it did. I was just asking a question, I am aware that opiates are opiates and "you'll do whats there" (which isn't even true, people do have limits on what they'll do and what they won't do, myself included as someone whose addicted to opiates) EDIT: I know now in gets mentioned an in interview. Side question where has Ronnie ever said he was addicted to oxycontin, I am more than aware he was addicted to heroin at one point in time and i know he(and max) have said they got in one fight with another group of people and ended up going to their friends house after and looking in their bathroom medicine cabinet so it's safe to assume he's abused prescribed medication but I've never come across him specifically saying oxyc mbontin.

Love this video! Though I will add as far as saying Escape the fate never wrote lyrics on This war is ours directed at Ronnie, We won't back down seems very obviously about Ronnie, though nothing as direct as Falling in reverse. On another note have you seen the video where Ronnie goes to an Etf show (before he went to jail, but after being kicked out) and gets the crowd to riot, well berating Craig and the band. What's really sad is Max says "this songs called if I could stay clean I could stay in my band", which Ronnie shouts back something like "I can stay fucking clean" and it is heart wrenching. The band plays the flood and Max screams the lyrics "leaving you behind" and it sort of implies he's directing it at Ronnie. Just wanted to add some extra drama, keep up the amazing videos!!!

You hit it out of the park again with this video, man. Thanks for the consistently quality uploads! Both ETF and FIR mean a lot to me so watching you detail their histories in parts 1 & 2 has been really awesome. Not sure if the omission was intentional, but Ronnie has also said that the song Caught Like a Fly from The Drug in Me is You was about Max (there's a line in it where Ronnie says that if Max died he wouldn't be at the wake, pretty intense stuff), which shows that he still had beef with both Craig and him at the time. I'm really glad you included the AP interview series he did with Max because I find myself rewatching them at least once a year, especially since they show just how well Max has been doing the past few years and their friendship is really inspiring to me 😊

Oh man when it comes to Escape The Fate I have a lot of memories with them. I found them in 2010 and my uncle bought me their self Titled album at Best Buy. I've been a metalhead for over a decade. I moved onto heavier stuff like Technical death metal and dsbm, but I still love post-hardcore. I always appreciated Craig Mabbit, unknown to the fact that they had a previous vocalist who would go on to start Falling in reverse. Ronnie Radke is awesome. I didn't listen to Falling in reverse until one day I saw a song called, "Don't mess with Ouija boards." I miss those days.. then I started getting into more of their stuff like Drug in me is you, Losing my mind/life, drugs, popular monster, and drug in me is you (reimagined). Etc... but I always preferred Escape The Fate. This war is ours is an amazing album, but their self-titled album I still love and listen to today. 🤘🏽 My math teacher wanted to listen when I was in high school a decade ago because I was the only emo guy in that school, hey I even got some of the kids in my high school into Escape the fate, Asking Alexandria, Attila, Attack Attack!, Scarlett O'hara, and I See Stars. Thanxs for this documentary about one of my favorite high school bands.

I cherish “Dying is your latest fashion” and “The drug in me is you” because nothing else will ever sound like those two albums ever again. Despite all the lyrics in “The drug in me is you” album, music wise nothing will ever sound like that again.

I love this channel. So much endless content and information about the 2000s scene. It makes me reminisce the MySpace days which I actually miss.
