Zero has many ways of interrogation, or gather intel. In previous games he threatens or beats people for information. That wouldn't work within Rainbow. So he tries a new approach. Instead he comes to them like an advocate, or friend. Sam may be well known for his covert ops, but to many Rainbow operators-he's a stranger personally. To have them so readily open up to him, like Vigil threatening Mozzie, would probably be something kept private. It could jeopardize team integrity. Yet, Zero's calm, friendly approach, theoperators may not realize what they've admitted to. It's like the Luftwaffe's master interrogator, Hanns Scharff, who used kindness and sympathy to get information from prisoners. Zero may have read from Scharff's playbook.

I d love if there was a game that would be a story mode involving Ghost Recon , Rainbow six and Splinter cell in one , and you as a player would have the ability to play each in different situations of the story , or play all three of them on the same stage . Fisher will be doing the sneaking part and Ghost recon with team rainbow the assault stuff .I believe that would be amazing.They can make a game like that when fisher was young still working for lambert cooperating with team rianbow and the ghosts .

Just saw that video now. A good sum up. One thing that can be extracted from the Tom Clancy books is that Sam fisher is probably based on John Clark, who in the books becomes the leader of the original Rainbow team. So I would guess that Sam will be the new leader of Rainbow.

IMO Tom Clancy timeline is deeper than you think !! Splinter cell chaos theory shares a story line with GR 2 on sinking USS clarence and korean war that occurres in game .... another TC game HAWX shares a plot with splinter cell where a VORON agent (Russian counter part of 3rd echelon ) appears with same outfit as kestrel a voron operative (Appears as playable COOP player in SC Conviction) and HAWX squadron frequently performs CAS (Close Air Support ) to Ghost recon teams ... to Hunter team GRAW 2 Predator team GRFS ..... ps; ik this comment will be buried deeper if you read this one try reading deep on the other games it will blow your mind !!

@@KudosR6 I didn’t even know you made a video about it. I was literally working on a theory that he was on the run from Deimos. I truly believe there is a reason that Deimos is either targeting Sam or Rainbow. Sam definitely had to have slipped Deimos’ name to Harry and that’s how Harry knew what to call him. Sam might have something valuable that Deimos needs and with Sam’s age he needs the help of Rainbow to stop him. I feel like he hasn’t said anything yet to them since he needs time to work on a plan or needs more info on Deimos to do anything.

The Splinter Cell, Ghost Recon, and Rainbow franchises all co exist together in the same universe. Always has and always will as far as common sense goes. The Sam in Siege unfortunately is indeed THE Sam Fisher from Splinter Cell, meaning yes, the splinter cell games are cannon in siege, just like the previous rainbow games, and ghost recon games. Ubisoft unfortunately likes ruining everything they work on, especially Clancy's/Red Storm's work and legacy. None, and i mean, none (Siege included) of the games released after Future Soldier should be considered cannon, because all of them have been handled to ubisoft, and ubisoft alone, not red storm. Hence all of the confusion, mishandling, and downright shitty quality of the clancy games in the last 9 years. Ubisoft doesn't actually care about it. If they did, red storm would be in control of it all, but of course, red storm seems to be being pushed back as of late by ubisoft, into a corner.
