Nutmegger here 🖐 Our state's name is from the Native American name for the area, Quinatucquet. We have a lot of places with Native American names and the pronunciations got butchered lol! I live a bit northeast of the capital on Lake Wangumbaug. Of course, being in New England, a lot of towns were named for towns in England, like my town Coventry 😁

It's unreal how much money Andrew spent. My theory is his spending habits were like an elite, rich person's version of stress relief to quell emotional trauma. He probably hadn't dealt with his feelings over his brother's murder and buried himself in his money instead. Even if he didn't get murdered at that point, he had lost his spouse, his kids, his money and would be in jail anyway for multi state financial fraud. He dug himself his own grave.
@lynnlynn9124
@lynnlynn9124 Жыл бұрын
His spending was insane prior to the brother's death. Other shows stated that Carlos was Robert's chauffeur, boy Friday, drug buddy, friend... It also said that it was very likely that Robert asked Carlos to kill him as the one unselfish act for his family because they would be able to collect life insurance. Also the possibility that Robert wanted to commit suicide but wasn't strong enough and because he was drinking when his wife walked out, maybe got trashed so he would be passed out or close to it when his end came. He wasn't a good father, husband, or friend. Edit: oops I meant Andrew, not Robert ( l watched Robert's video before this).

My aunt Bunny was killed in an automobile accident when a woman (who it turned out had been having an affair with my aunt's husband) ran her off the road and into a concrete pylon of an overpass. The initial investigation had lead to people believing that she had nodded off at the wheel as she was a heroin addict... But then, footage from a traffic camera had came to light that showed a second car that caused the accident. This woman ended up going to prison for several years for manslaughter. My aunt's daughter was three at the time and ended up in the custody of our aunt Linda, who also ended up dying two decades later. Aunt Linda's husband had slowly poisoned her with arsenic over the course of six months so he could pursue a relationship with his mistress... Who turned out being the same woman that caused my first aunt's death... I can't remember the woman's name, it was either Teresa or Tanya...

Eventually, he was found lying in the middle of a road on the edge of town that didn't see much traffic at night...or even in daytime. He'd been run over with a car several times. I mostly know about this, because a friend was among the victims--$700 taken. I even met the idiot once, and wasn't impressed--nothing scary about him, just a stupid thief. Awesome work Adrian. I waited for this after you said last time you would do it. I don't know how i feel about this one, he scammed lots of people and spend money that didn't belong to him, that is highly unethical but on the other hand, he shouldn't have died because of it. Plotting a murder is imo as punishable as committing it. 6 years is very lenient and i think he should have gotten more prison time than that.

I wasn't going to click on this video, and Robert's, because it was so well covered in the US, with movies of the week, tons of interviews, and more, and this was for years too. But you do such an awesome job, that I did watch both, and as always, they were excellent. It also blew my mind that he was never turned in by the condo board. That further increased this guy's sense of entitlement. And he know that he would have served just a couple of years in some minimum security jail, and would have hid any assets very well. I feel bad for these poor kids. I hope they turned out ok, considering all the trauma they went through. Please cover the Channon Christian and Christopher Newsom case.

In regards to unique names for cities and states we have here in the US, usually the names are derived from the native tribe names for the area. It’s why Arkansas is pronounced the way it is also. Connecticut comes from the Algonquin word quinetucket, which means land along the tidal river (according to google lol)

6 grand actually isn't that much for a well made artisan dining table made of solid woods and metals. My dad had a $3000 glass table in our kitchen when I was a kid, was three inches thick and fancy as hell with parts made opaque and with carvings along the edges.
