Wow this game is insanely obscure, never even heard of it in Diablo clone lists. Might check this out, great video as always! Bonus it was uploaded a day after my birthday B) If you haven't already, you should check out a game called "Blade & Sword", it's another Asian Diablo clone from back in the day that nobody talks about. I'd love to make a video on it one of these days.

I was there, 3000 years ago... err... I mean - I played this game, back in 2003 or 2004, I don't remember exactly, I played a lot of games then... It wasn't bad, though, the only things I can rember about this games are - 1) I liked weapons design 2) It has awesome cloud shadows on the ground 3) I quite liked how it handled potions - not a ssingle use, but each sip reduced the amount of liquid inside and this was displayed on UI, that was very new back in 2003... Thanks for the review, it was like a trip back in time. ))

Can you help me with the game? Cant get the music to work
@salokin30872 жыл бұрын
You basically have to try some abandonware downloads of the game, some of which have the music, some dont. I vaguely remember an exe i used to install the game, but not sure from where. Otherwise, i could upload the music in a doc which you could download and place in the folder. Try finding the dowoad first

Looks like a fun game. Great video. Regarding the transition from physical distribution to online, I think what the developer was referring to was that South Korea was among the first (if not THE first) to jump on the Free-to-play train. This was probably facilitated by the fact South Korea was never a particularly strong market for premium games (They weren't the worst offender, but copies "got around" if you know what I mean) and its early adoption of high-speed internet. Many early F2Ps also had lower system requirements than average, to minimize download sizes and reach the widest audience possible, which probably helped too. As such the game's success in its home market combined with its failure to garner attention in the West made it look like a fluke. Even now I can remember how, in the mid 2000s my brother would spend all day playing MU Online so I can kind of corroborate what he's saying.

I`m a south korean and ha ha no I never heard about this game. Friends of mine do not, too. Maybe I was too young at that time. It`s "더 페이트" in korean, and I found the only Two Threads by typing "더 페이트 게임(which means "The fate game") on google. Their judgement to the game is not consistent(one says it`s just bad, other says it`s "not that" bad), but they says Its developement was troublesome and devs promised too much things. And The game was sold so bad so it became a bundle game for magazines(Maybe the sales your research saying about is including bundles). I linked that threads first but My reply disappeared. So I would not do it again.
