I was born and raised in jersey. Mainly Hopewell valley area. I was a 70’s kid. My uncle had a 67 goat. In high school the parking lot was full of 68 to 72 muscle cars. Big block chevy’s, fords and of course mopar’s. You could get any one of those cars for a song and dance. Due to gas rationing,people where practically giving them away. If you had told someone that in 2018 the challenger would make 700+ hp. They would laugh you out of town and tell you muscle cars are dead for ever. Needless to say I’m glad they were wrong.

Awesome Video Brother! I'm a Dad too and going through that expensive daily grind in NYC. But always my Family first, and got my Hobbies too with that V8 DNA. I have an 86 Pontiac Trans Am as my first Macho Car. Till this day still have my "Fire Chicken" T.A. Like you said, kinda become part of the Family. That "Miami Vice" era was really cool. But ever since I got my Challenger Rt 5.7 Hemi, I became a MoparGuy, and there's no going back. A " Hellcat" is a dream for me now. I call my Chally a "Fatcat". Lol! HAPPY FATHER'S DAY MIKE!😎

I never missed an episode of "MV" throughout the 80's on Friday night, I still have my personalized license plate from my very first new car I bought in 1985, a Dodge Shelby Charger Turbo, Black with a wide Silver stripe & a 5-speed my plate said "MIAMI VI".

Exactly, and challengers are to heavy for a 6. Personally I would not buy one without a V8, actually I would not go for anything less than a scat. I would rather have an older SRT8 (which I do, mine is a 2010) than an new RT. l like the original 70 look, and those Brembos are awesome for stopping all that wt.
