First Flash comic I've read. It was definitely good even though it was quite confusing because I don't really know about the events of Infinite Crisis and the info dump on the speed force. I always considered "Rebirth" to be one of the lesser chapters in Johns' Flash run. I remember there were a ton of unrealistic hype built up after "GL: Rebirth" and that whole run, and it certainly didn't help that at the start of the story, Barry had already come back from the dead, so they kinda just had to fill for 6 issues (with gorgeous Van Sciver artwork, but still). Even the reveal of Thawne as the bad guy was just a sprite swap of Sinestro's reveal over in GL. I was surprised that "Flashpoint" turned out to be a much more effective culmination of Prof. Zoom as the ultimate arch-nemesis.
