That remains my favorite DB arc. It's not just over the top fighting with a trainingmontage. It was for a large part maneuvring and strategizing where 1 dragonball could mean the difference between defeat and living another day. Gohan and Krillin where outmatched, so they had to use their brain, while Vegeta used betrayal and Frieza went for the powerapproach. And it all ended with a satisfying, though a little to long, bossfight. Nothing in the shows to follow ever came to the same level in my opinion.
