It's amazing what can be heard when recording (with a simple cassette player) the "noise" in an empty and silent room. I was in a repurposed primary school - turned into an office building - and recorded the sound of a piano in what used to be the assembly hall. It was quite eerie, since the hall had been turned into a sectioned storage room.

Missed seeing you lately! I believe they are real. Experiences from my childhood home. Built in 1925. The Pautlers had a son sent home from the war gravely injured and passed away in what was my bedroom. I saw him many times before I ever knew anyone had died in the house. Mrs Pautler confirmed his passing and I described him to a T. She then showed me his picture. I had full body shivers. He never did anything but stand at the window and look my way occasionally.

My daughter was married at the Jacob Henry mansion in Joliet Illinois. The part of the mansion where the bride prepares for the wedding brings chills, for no physical reason. The feeling is so strong that wedding attendees venture up stairs, and came back to the wedding with wide eyes.

Hey Robert! Good to see you in a new video story! Did you feel anything creepy while you were there? I had a strange experience once touring a very old courthouse where a gun fight had happened in the 1800s. Bullet holes in the wall! My sister and i really felt an overwheming sense of evil in that place. Needless to say, we had to leave!

This is bonkers, and I might have mentioned it on this channel before but I think I know part of the reason why Scotland is so rich in paranormal history. I took some (ahem) magic pizza toppings.... (I'm from California btw, so not a Scot other than distant ancestors) I went to a "past life" (whatever that means), in 18th century Scotland. I was nobody, and my family all died, so nothing about that would interest anyone outside of myself. As I was living out this past life, i saw an ancient order of magicians, centuries before me in the Northern part of the country. They predated druids and I got the impression it's a now extinct practice or religion. I saw them taking bones from their dead and scratching markings into them, like spells. In order to see the markings better, they took the ashes from their fire and rubbed the bones, so the markings almost looked like pencil to me. Then they placed them back in the ground. I was made to understand that what they were doing was making the land sacred. One of the things I, as the Scottish woman, told myself was (I'm going to try to write her accent, so to all the Scots reading this, I'm sorry for my poor dictation of the accent) "They shot us and hanged us. They burned us and buried us in the ground. They beat us and cut us up into pieces, but they didna know, you canna kill a Scot." I still feel that line so deeply it makes me tear up. I struggle with believing in anything, but after that experience, I thought it would be wise to be open to the possibilities that there is more to this life than living and dying. Editd to add: I'm not saying any of this is a literal truth, just an interesting possibility.

I'm going to Saratoga battlefield on the anniversary of the battle to see if they know where Simon Fraser is buried.. it's somewhat of a mystery. They say a gray lady in Scotland (how many do you have?) said she would see him again at Ticonderoga, when his time was up.😁 The Black Watch was known in America too. Soldiers were a major export from Scotland along with woolens and whiskey.😊 A lot of them stayed on to haunt us here, from the Carolinas to Canada. 👻

I once saw a documentary that explained how the earth's rotation causes vibration which in essence is an energy field surrounding us. It was claimed that the human body is attuned to this vibration, though we do not consciously feel it. In some places on earth it is felt stronger than others, especially where there is water or caves. Perhaps the rock the castle sits on does something that affects people negatively in some way. Or, even though nobody knew of the hauntings, castles being haunted is very much ingrained in any person these days, so it might not matter people didn't know the specific stories. Imagination can play tricks on the mind. And, who knows, no one can definitely claim there aren't things in this world that we still can't explain. We only used a small part of our brain.
