Great insights. I'm more focused on the best graded sovs, halves & doubles but there's now an even greater disconnect between them and spot. Part of the collecting regime is simply patience. Discounts will flow through at some point.

To me it like gas, when I tank. When raw material prices go up, price at tank station goes up immediately, but raw material prices go down, my tank station has a stock purchased at a higher price and it can not liquidate its stock at market price. Someone needs to get squeezed…

Yes, gold will be up in the long term. My base principle is government vs gold, gold always wins. Especially true in the UK. As we've seen the government came in on a growth ticket, but then enacted policies that are anti-growth (and inflationary). Current growth 0.1%, and not looking good in the long run. They will therefore have to do a combination of two things: come back for more taxes, print more money. So, in the long run, gold up...
