Most prophecies have dual or multiple fulfillment. For example the Abomination of desolation has already happened twice but will happen again. He declared that in.order to let members know the sixth seal was already closed and the seventh seal was opened. Most people didn't realize that Joel's Prophecy was fulfilled in 1202 AD. It will happen again however just before Christ comes. Revelations place the same event in the time frame for both the 6th and Seventh which has caused some to think that the two seals overlap. They do not overlap. Their are similar events in both seals.

It makes a little sense that a meteor strike, if large enough could shake the earth and trigger these events at the same time. beginning of an all encompassing reset of all of the earth related geology like: - the earthquake which starts the shift of the continents and creating the landscapes needed for natural return - the volcanic ash which triggers the earth returning to its natural state (vegetation growth acceleration etc.) - the ash also darkens the sky for a period of time triggering a long process which eventually results in the discontinuation of the rain, I believe that before Noah it didn’t rain. No one had experienced rain making it extremely difficult to believe there would be a flood. The earth returning to its natural state does not include rain. Also resulting in the elimination of seasons. This comment is not perfect or completely thought through, but any comment would be interesting either debunking, or supporting by Bildungsroman on to my thoughts on this. Thank you Chris

'Zion', otherwise known as the City of Enoch, that is, the people who ascended up, with Enoch (the great-grandfather of Noah), are among those who will come down from heaven, to inhabit the New Jerusalem. "Restoration Scriptures" (as I call them) of The New Jerusalem, also inform us that the people of Salem, whose king was Melchizedek, the same high priest to whom Abraham paid tithes, and who is (Melchizedek that is) a pre-type of Jesus Christ, and after whose name the priesthood, previously called The Holy Priesthood after the Order of the Son of God (meaning, against, Jehovah, who IS Jesus Christ in his ante-mortal state, was changed to (or, the Melchizedek Priestood, of which the Levitical or Aaronic Priesthood, again, as we are informed by latter-day revelation from God, is/are a lesser arm, as it were, of this higher, Melchizedek Priesthood, which priesthood Jesus presides over, and of which He is the high priest forever over. He (Melchizedek), and the people of his ancient city (Salem), who previous to his teaching them, as Enoch did to and for the people of 'his' city (the City of Zion, or the City of Enoch), taught them how to live in peace (hence, Melchizedek was, as Jesus Christ is also called, a 'Prince of Peace'). Salem was in the same place the city of Jerusalem was, prior to the establishment of Jerusalem. "Salem" is the same word, basically, Jesus, therefore, was and is a, or the 'prince of peace'; which, to be sure, is a title, of several, mentioned of Christ by Isaiah in chapter 9 of his book. In section 116 of the book, The Doctrine and Covenants, it was revealed by and to Joseph Smith in 1838, that the Garden of Eden was near a place called "Adam-Ondi-Ahman", which is where the righteous posterity of Adam and Eve gathered three years prior to Adam's death; and where he (Adam), blessed his posterity, and foretold all things that would befall them to the end of the world (or, until the destruction of the wicked, which IS the "end of the world" (at least, as we know it). In scripture, it says that God "planted a garden, which is eastward in Eden". The Garden of Eden was somewhere near Adam-Ondi-Ahman, which was in Davies County, Missouri. Davies County is not far, I believe, to Jackson County, Missouri. The temple lot, a place where a temple is to be built, which is in Jackson County, is considered "the center place" of 'Zion', which is, or will be "the New Jerusalem". In Revelation 21:16 (you can look it up), it indicates that the total size of the New Jerusalem is 12,000 furlong long, wide and high. When you look up how many furlongs are in a mile, the distances for the length, width and height of the City of New Jerusalem is 1500 miles cubed. So, since Independence (right next to Kansas City) will be the "center place" of the city of New Jerusalem, you can go 750 miles North, South, East and West of Indepence to get an idea of what states and areas of states (as well as of a few Canadian provinces) the City of New Jerusalem will include. Winnipeg, Manitoba will be in New Jerusalem, as much of Colorado, New Mexico, Wyoming, Montana, both North and South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma, much of Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, some of West Virginia, I believe all of Ohio, and perhaps the most western skinny slice of Pennsylvania, most or all of Michigan, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Missouri, Arkansas, etc. will be part of! In the Book of Mormon, Lehi and Nephi, first of the two prophets first mentioned, who lived during the same time as Jeremiah, spoke of 'Jerusalem' (the old city of Jerusalem) more as a 'nation', rather than only a geographically very limited municipality. But, 'New Jerusalem', which will be in the Western (rather than in the Eastern) hemisphere, will be a second capital city, besides the old Jerusalem, in which Jesus Christ, during the millennium will dwell. Only the righteous will live in the New Jerusalem. And prophecy declares that it will be the ONLY place in the world in which there will be no war when the Savior returns to the earth, and destroys the wicked by fire.

The bible says that God will distroy this earth completely because God will consume it with fire when he destroys Satan, the fallen Angel's, demons and the wicked. Then the scriptures says that the city comes out of God and will descend from the heavens. Which will be Gods kingdome and the new Jerusalem. The earth will be back to how it was in the beginning. All land will be one big piece together. The earth wont look like it looks now. We won't be building anything, Jesus has been working on it since he left. There are going to be two great earthquakes, not just one. The first great earthquake will happen during the sixth seal. It will be so great that it will move every mountain and every island. That one will precede the building of the Nee Jerusalem. That one is associated with the heavens departing as a scroll, the sun turning black as sackcloth of hair, and the stars falling from heaven. The earthquake of Revelation 16 will be greater than the 6th seal earthquake. One must be careful that they aren’t confusing the prophecies that surround the two different earthquakes.

In Isaiah 2 I'm still convinced this it is talking very specifically about the Salt Lake City temple and here's why. You may know some of this, but it all goes together, so bear with me. When the state of Utah got their name, it wasn't what they asked for. They wanted to name it the state of Deseret. But because of polygamy, and other reasons, the state was hated and so they renamed it Utah after the native Ute Indians. What they didn't know is that Utah in the indigenous American Indian language meant something like "mountain top(s)" or "tops of the mountains." When you add the fact that the SLC Temple was made out of granite, or chunks of a mountain. So, as we walk through verse 2 we read "And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the Lord’s house" (as described above, the physical granite temple) "shall be established in the top of the mountains," the Indian meaning of Utah "and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it." (Exalted meaning the work that is done inside. Because the SLC temple is the iconic temple of the church, when tours come through, the Winter Olympics, General Conference, and many other events that bring world citizens to SLC, and have for many years, "...all nations [have] flow unto it") If it were a second coming temple, the nations will be broken down and there will be no nations, so that part won't be true. I also don't think the temple in Jerusalem or the New Jerusalem will be built with granite, among other issues the the prophesy. I see that as specific and literal to the SLC Temple. But it's just my perspective.

There are at least two theories that seem to work, but both are very mysterious. The one I’ve held to for the longest is where the lost 10 are purposely hidden on this earth 🌍 up north somewhere where the Lord is protecting them. Who, where, and why is part of the mystery and they will come forth from the north at their appointed time, by way of a land mass that rises up out of the sea 🌊 to give them passage. The other theory is that they, like the city of Enoch are not on this planet but on held somewhere else until it is their time to return. Hey then will come down like a comet ☄️ crash breaking up ice and earth providing them a way to come from the North on the scripturally specified highway to the New Jerusalem to help build the temple in preparation for the coming of the Lord.

The (pre-trib) Rapture is generally what people are speaking of when they yearn for the “Second Coming” and not the actual moment when He who returns on the white horse bringing war and judgement. @@nancid5265 I too used to only use the term TRANSLATION, but when you look at the other mainstream Christian use of this term, it's actually the same thing as translation. You're partly correct though. Technically the exact same thing that was referenced as the Rapture by John Darby, is what the Saints understand to be translation. Tomato vs Tomartoe. I think it's kool though to use the modern term of Rapture. Each to his/her own.

@@nancid5265 I agree that "rapture" the theory by the two sisters is not true. I lean to a spiritual "gathering back together" under the supernatural power of Christ like Paul preached. How this will manifest in the physical realm I don't think anyone knows nor exactly when it will occur.

A small clarification here. The references in Rev 6:12, Joel 2:10-11 are sixth seal events. Joel references the battle that happens in American when the Assyrian attacks. Apparently there will be multiple occurrences where there are great earthquakes and the sun and moon are darkened and the stars either stop shinning or fall from heaven. Just saying .....

When I think of heavens being rolled up like a scroll I think of a giant hurricane. As to a meteorite causing continental shift I don't think that will cause every continent to move back how they were from a meteorite. I think it would take a more divine touch to do it.

My vote is for a combo punch of the Poles/Core Flipping with meteor strike, like the Meteor/Super Volcano that took out the Dinos. Actually I thought more off a Super Comet that would leave a massive meteor showers that would overwhelm the ozone and upper atmosphere causing the falling stars and heavens rolling up like a scroll. All the burning meteors causing the air to pollute and make the moon look red (blood).

Most things literal also have a figurative aspect to them. Joseph's life account in Genrsis was 100% literal AND probably 100% figurative ( or symbolic) too. Compare Jesus' life to that of ancient Joseph, and you will find dozens, if not hundreds of parallwls (or, as it is put in the Book of Mormon, "is there not a type in this thing?")

Actually there's a good chance there will be far less water on the surface and more land overall. Basically the oceans will go away as the bulk of the water was probably underground. Noah's flood was probably an asteroid which cracked the surface and underground water burst force, and the areas where the oceans are actually were once dry land and those areas sunk letting the underground water take their place. I work in oil and gas and there is vast stores of water underground, and all of it is brine like the ocean. Just a thought.

The rapture is made up. Stick to doctrine of the church of Jesus Christ. Alot of Christians in the world will probably lose their faith when a rapture never happens. But such is the designs of the devil.

The oceans being driven into the north countries implies that the north countries move south, viz: something like a crustal displacement moves north and South America from a north-south alignment to an east-west one, possibly along the equator. Big changes are coming...

I was thinking about this point, myself. Could it also mean that if something like a volcano or celestial body colliding with the Earth were to happen that it would cause and I sage? The ice caps would be mainly in the North... As well as Antarctica but, that continent doesn't get much attention in the scriptures. Either way, the Lord knows the best way to do things and I look forward to His coming!

@@jdharris6586 I don't think an asteroid etc colliding into the earth would have the right kind of force to accomplish this. I do, however; believe that a mini nova of our sun would cause all of these elemental changes including a mantle release. It would also cause a sudden ice age the kind like when the mammoths froze solid with food still in their mouths. It is possibly that our sun has recurring nova's. Fun to study.
