Went through Menopause at 51 with hot flashes but nothing bad. I am Carnivore and 68 years old and do not have hot flashes unless I eat something that has some sugar or too many carbs. I do not have any health issues and rarely ever get sick. No problems with vaginal dryness and I guess my body is just hanging on to its estrogen. Lol. I will just be proud of every wrinkle and pray for continued happiness!

I am 51 and I started carnivore in 2019. I used to have terrible issues with pain, depressions, joint pain, flushes, when I was in my late 40' but I am now 51 and just like you, I will have hot flushes, when I eat something sweet or with carbs! I now have 0 issues other than a missing period or some soreness in my muscles.

When were you born? 1956? A lot has changed since then. And babies and children are being exposed non stop to xeno estrogens = hormone disruptors. Come back in 10 years when cognitive decline happens.

This was literally something I was going to ask about on tomorrows Sunday zoom! I am 56 full on menopause and 2 months ago I noticed my skin on my arms started "hanging" never ever thought I would have that. My hair started falling out and my hot flashes have been brutal for about 3 months. Carnivore/keto helped tremendously first 6 months but now I am noticing my tummy looks puffy and my glucose has risen a bit but I eat no sugar/oils/grains/SAD. Weight loss stalled and currently on your PSMF September challenge.

Maria, you are so awesome for having this talk!! ❤ Thank you!! I wanted to share that, thanks to my chiropractor, I most likely will be doing bovine female glandulars instead of HRT. I was skeptical at first that they could replace hormones, but after some research, I discovered they can help men grow normal sized breasts, so I figure they can help me through upcoming menopause. 😆 I’m probably in perimenopause, and I just recently started on placenta for progesterone. I hadn’t been able to sleep more than 5-6 hours for the past year, and now I’m sleeping past 6 hours, so I think it’s starting to work. My goal is to get back to 7-8 hours of uninterrupted sleep! 🙏🏻 Anyway, I just wanted to share about female glandulars! Sadly, there’s _very_ little information about it in regards to menopause, but it sure makes sense to me that women most likely have utilized glandulars for centuries to help get through menopause. I appreciate you as always!!! Much love to you and Craig-y’all have the BEST hearts! Love you both!! ❤❤

My chiropractor is going to put me on Utrophin PMG from Standard Process too. Swanson Vitamins has reasonable prices on their bovine ovary (read the reviews to see how men are growing breasts with it). Most of the information I found was from TransWomen sites. Please ladies, if you have any concerns about cancer, do not take any estrogen. Not internally or externally. What you put on your skin gets absorbed. I speak from experience. I have endometrial cancer and estrogen (estradiol specifically) made it grow so much! Health is much more important than looks. There's a reason why our hormones are supposed to decline as we age. Aging is normal and healthy. I've learned that living low stress and getting good nutrition, proper regular exercise and having a purposeful life is the key to aging beautifully. 🥰

Wonderful ladies and very knowledgeable. The thing you said about fatty liver and swimming pools was so jaw dropping. I had a horrible 15 years, starting at 36, all perimenopause related. Nobody even thought about it. I was just a drama woman to them. Of course, women are mad. So am i. But getting HRT right, is so hard. Luckily, i now found a wonderful group on facebook, (in Dutch), where i can start again. The main thing is, while every gyno says, use lower dosage estrogen (they did with me, they even shamed me for using 2 pomps oestrogel) .. 2 pomps, or 50 patch is just the starting dose. That does not cover Osteoporosis. I learned, when estrogen is high enough, T will rise also. It's so complicated and with no help from doctors.. it's sad and i hope it changes.

Then all of it went away on carnivore but now, month 5 my hot flashes are back with a vengeance and a perioral dermatitis flare up again. I'm thinking carnivore alone is not going to fix this. Same here, all of the above symptoms including osteoporosis. I'm 65. My compounded HRT is not covered by insurance. I use a compounding HRT cream prescribed by my functional medicine provider(Forum Health/Providers) So I spend about $100 for 90 day supply. I use Women's International Pharmacy, now called Bellmar Pharmacy in Arizona. I get my hormones checked annually. It's pricey, but I am worth it.

Great video! I was starting peri menopause in my late 40’s and some of my symptoms were actually 2 separate cancers, ovarian & uterine. 2 years ago I had a radical hysterectomy and was flung into full menopause. Couldn’t take any hormones due to 2 rare clotting disorders. I’m 51 now and still fighting cancer as it’s stage 4. They will treat me if I’m up and about as they said so every day I do everything I can to be active (which is usually just light housework as I’m exhausted). I think I’m completely through menopause now. The hot flashes they kept me up all night are gone. I did suffer from PMDD all of my menstruating years and I would have at least one terrible week monthly before my period. Oddly enough now, I’ll get one random day of that feeling out of the blue and I always wonder why. I guess I’m probably in some sort of hormonal flux or maybe just stress itself can cause those icky PMS feelings. Love & comfort to all going through menopause!💓

I fully believe being insulin resistant and obese played a huge factor in facilitating this event. Now, 54, and in menopause, I am not a candidate for HRT d/t the stroke. I am taking natural supplements which is helping and also being keto/ketovore. I will tell you that if I eat "crap", the hot flashes are unbearable. Maybe next time you interview these ladies, you can bring up those that are not candidates for HRT and what route we should be taking. @@Aggrav8d2day Birth control patches aren't 'hormones'! Hormonal contraception increases stroke risk, yes, they know that. Transdermal, bioidentical, HRT simply doesn't. I take testosterone pellets. And I love them before that I couldn’t have sex. It hurt too much. Now I’m like a teenager. Lol

That doesn't fix menopause. And I have eaten carnivore and keto for over 20 years.

@@MariaEmmerichwell, you must be honest and admit nothing “fixes” menopause. It is GOING to happen. We will not live forever no matter what we do. Eat carnivore, go dairy free, and give our bodies time to heal and then ride life out. We will never be 20 again 🤷‍♀️

I didn’t say anything is going to fix menopause. But there are natural ways to help ease the symptoms, a clean carnivore diet will always be preferable over SAD, but it alone isn’t the only solution.

@@MariaEmmerich you implied that menopause could be “fixed” when you said that carnivore “would not fix menopause” your quote. I guess you just misspoke. I agree it is possible to make a few symptoms better for a while, but at what cost? I had most of my symptoms for a couple of years and now they have mostly subsided with time. I am also on a carnivore with very little dairy. I know I will still age, that is inevitable. Our bodies were designed to go into menopause, so I know there is a way to avoid most ( if not all) the symptoms with diet and lifestyle. It seems most women on hormone replacement spend most of their time trying to “get it right” with a lot of other symptoms to go along with that process. I guess I have to wonder if it is worth it. 🤷‍♀️

@@ttiller3744 You still seem to think that menopause is about symptoms, and that our bodies were 'designed'. You could try watching the video, or reading the book, so you know what people are talking about.
