oh I just had a great idea, if Franky can upgrade himself to be able to use the green blood than there is a devil fruit user near to him which would work fantastic with him, Robin's Hana Hana fruit, her fruit lets her bloom copies of her body parts and even full body, but in the hands of Franky whose limbs are literally weapons that would increase his firepower considerably, Imagine him able to fire dozens of radical beams at a target from almost any angle. remember Franky's radical beam was able to easily blast trough a door that Sanji was struggling to breakdown so those things have some significant power behind them

I just thought of something. If we give Franky seastone-fists and Enel returns, Franky could be one of *two* natural enemies to Enel. I could totally see a scene where Franky gets hit with lightning, just like Luffy in Skypiea. And when the smoke clesrs, his nipples are shining with 1000% overcharge on his body, leading to an overpowered, seastone enabled 'Strong Right' that hits Enel. Cue Enel shocked-face gag again.

Cloud Flowing Thousand Sunny, it is not far from the truth after seeing Mini Merry 2 doing a similar concept in punk hazard. Franky and Usopp already have experience using Weatherian Technology because of Nami's Clima-Tact. So with the help of Lilith Vegapunk, it is possible to see much powerful upgrade to the Sunny. Also with the help of Wapol creating those materials.

Franky being Queen's son is absolutely hilarious and perfect. I'm always up for upgrading the pervy cyborg. The thing that gets me in discussions about Franky is people's evaluation of his current power. Short of the elite Haki users I can't think of a reason to think a massive Wapo metal fist propelled by extreme hydrolic pressure wouldn't be devastating. He also has lazers which even some pretty strong characters don't seem to want to fuck with. In terms of most likely upgrade I think it would be something to do with bubbles. They're whimsical but would also make Franky even more of a tank. For the ship, having the Sunny make clouds would be totally on point. It already flies so having something to help them with landing would sort of perfect the ship. Also the idea of them launching over a Navy blockade with some allied ships in toe would be absolutely incredible.

There is one details that apears unrelated, the Mashup Vegapunk stole punk records making it float, but there is a problem with it and is that at the beginning of the arc Lillith said that they can only fly inside of the sea of cloud. Its possible that shirt time , Franky share his cola tech and Vegapunk manage to solve the fly issue. And maybe we gonna have a flying Sunny or/And Franky Shogun, as the problem with the Soda was the efficiency (the chicken voyage drain the receeves and need to be refilled).

There's more foreskinning to be had by Oda: Expect that a place with old customs also has old laws - Franky will be put on trial for his use of the Adam wood. I will not be surprised if he ends up the Klabautermann of his own ship by the end of the story. I also won't be surprised if pieces of Pluton's blueprint end up into the Thousand Sunny by the end (with only the old members of CP9 able to verify this). There's still tons of development of Franky left to do, but Elbaf will 100% be the Franky and Usopp arcs. I expect Water7 2.0.

The possibilities for Franky’s combative upgrades sure do run deep. I wonder which approach(es) Oda will use and why. My two personal favorite theories or ideas that you mentioned are the Wapol-related reason and the Green blood reason. Tying Wapol to the more intriguing Cutty Flam gives Wapol (and Wapometal) more luster drum 🥁. Likewise, given that Oda didn’t promise or state that Vegapunk will explain Devil Fruits, one way to make it narratively important is to tie it to Flam. The Green Blood power-up would add depth to Devil Fruits, Nika, the Great Kingdom of old, and, with this theory, Flam. Why am I emphasizing Flam as opposed to Franky? In my opinion, the Puffing Flam sounds better than the Puffing Franky. It, the Puffing Flam, would also indicate that Franky - I mean, Flam - would have embraced his creation (and true name) with a DON!

Your idea is amazing, but i think you're missing a key combo. A Coup de Burst combined with dropping clouds like the milky dial could allow the Sunny to make a bridge of clouds. If we could pour clouds out of the front, we would then have support for the ship and the Sunny wouldn't lose any altitude. A stairway to heaven.

Oda has used Journey to the west and sun wukong / Hanuman as inspiration throughout the entire series. This would give luffy his nimbus cloud, allowing him to sail the skies and be even more free to travel. Zeus could also be in use here too, he could eat the clouds or the clouds the sunny produces could be used as safe places for the civilians. In the most recent chapter dragon said there would be fights for higher ground but what if non intentionally luffy helps liberate more people through excessive use of the cloud technology. I believe this cloud technology is related to Uranus in some way, luffys clouds would be white like nika and imus black as sabo described the ancient weapon as a black cloud. Uranus is the god of weather / rain and music is a heavy theme with nika which ties into dance power and Vivi who seemingly made it rain in alabaster. Imu and Vivi are both Uranus because imu used the op op fruit to swap with Lilis body for this Uranus power. When we saw it used it almost looked like lazer beams powered from the undying mother flame which is held in water. What if the beams were pressurised water beams, almost like rain, which would fit Uranus well. The mother flame also did not give off the sound of fire but instead an onomatopoeia for water was used “glub” I think this small detail shows the true nature of Uranus being water related which would explain the sea level rise too. Imu hides his body in a cloak to hide who truly lets him control Uranus for this reason and I also think sunlight is his weakness which would fit why he hides in a garden inside as he can’t go outside and this would mirror geko morrias ability, with higher ups trying to get him killed before too maybe something deeper there?. Imus voice is not distinctive of a singular gender and he also has been seen staring at a lili picture, this would act as self portrait of his new body and him also reminiscing. I think the void century may be a tragic love story of imu, lili, and joyboy with the op op fruit resembling a heart too.

The sinking world is such an amazing concept for OP. It's tied so much up in the background for me. All the world is tied up in a race against time. What's to say this hasn't happened in the past already? Maybe the world looks the way it does due to a previous flood that forced some to go to the sky, moon, or adapt themselves to water, i.e. fiishmen or winged people. Perhaps genetic manipulation was a part of the ancient kingdom. Maybe that's how they created devil fruits.

Theory which is likely to be true: Wano Arc was 100 times more tough version of Skypiea. Egghead Arc was 100 times more tough version of Ennies Lobby . Elbaf Arc will be 100 times more tough version of Thriller Bark. Like In Thriller Bark Straw hat fought Oars, In Elbaf they are gonna fight hundreads of Giant warrior. Ussop is Gonna get a reality check like he did in Thriller bark. zoro might replace his Kitetsu with more superior sword like he got a new sword in thriller bark. In the end we might even have a ICONIC moment like "Nothing happened" in Thriller bark.
