In fact he gets extremely salty whenever he's spotlighted by bigger youtubers and claims they are hurting his business and trying to make him fail. His ego deludes himself into thinking all the trolls exist because people made "nasty disgusting videos" about him, and they're riding his coat tails. Truth is, if trolls all dissapeared overnight he would dissapear soon afterwards. They're the only way he remains relevant at all. This week he's complaining about in this video, he made 1400$ in tips alone. The day after this video he made about 400 in tips. None of that includes superchats or memberships. His tips dry up for a few days often and its because his few huge donors have ran out of money, then once they get some money in it goes straight to their cult leader. Most are mentally/physically disabled people who Phil has been manipulating and guilt tripping for years, to use their government assistance to give to him. He really is a disgustingly immoral piece of garbage.

After watching your (August's) video, I looked up a full-length documentary someone else made about DSP on KZbin. You've barely scratched the surface of what a complete POS this guy is. It's complicated but the TL;DR is that he's an aggressive hothead who has made a 15+ year-long career out of whining that he's never making enough money, that all of these platforms never pay him enough, and how he only loses games because of the other person cheating or something. Basically, a true professional victim. He's honestly had one of the most pathetic lives I've ever heard of.
