@@bekcha4170 It's heartbreaking. I'm a peaceful person, but seeing what these monsters can do to an innocent animal makes me violently angry because these "people" rarely pay for what they do. They're hardly going to take their pet to a vet because the vet will immediately know what the cause of the dog's injuries are. And for the same reason, they're not going to surrender them to a shelter. They know what they're doing is illegal, as well as morally reprehensible, and they certainly don't want to pay for the cruelty they've inflicted on their dog. They're more likely to dump their dog when they've injured them badly enough that the poor animal is no longer of any "use" to them. And they certainly know that what they're doing is causing serious damage and injury...the injuries are very graphic and noticeable, not really something they can ignore. There are cases where the person has been caught and charged, but sentences for crimes like this are insultingly lenient.

What these people never seem to be able to wrap their mind around is that animals are not capable of consenting to a sexual relationship. Sure, they may hump your leg or something, but it's an animal instinct. Even if said people aren't forcing the animal to do something sexual, the animal is not capable of even understanding that the human is gaining something. The human is in a sexual act that the animal is unaware of and incapable of understanding. That's called taking advantage, aka animal abuse.

If it's wrong but animals (dog) won't get hurt then I don't care what you do with it. @NooneImportant You need to share your life with an animal to understand, people don's say for fun that it's a special relationship, nothing like friendship, a mate (as a wife/husband). It's more like you're the parent or it, not like "it's just my pet" (and if that is the case than you're not actually taking care your animal, you're just making him stay alive for your pleasure. And that's where we get to zoophilia, someone thinks they're (speaking of ANIMAL with human) in love and they might be, might not be (not studied, as I said). Anyways as long as there's no actual physical or mental harm then I personally have no actual issue with it. And about the cats not caring, they are pray AND predator animal and so they show, as little as possible, emotion and pain. If you'd have your own cat you'd understand this a lot more, obviously. But if you're just a stranger then they're in the pray&predator mode and but seem to be calm but if you understand cat behaviour you'd know that calm cat that's not even growling might be on high alert and ready to hit and run. Also animals, imho, seem to be a lot better at body language and know stuff even you don't know you're showing to them.

Three, sometimes parents don't allow you to go to therapy. Four, there are other reasons but I'm not going to list every reason there is. It's really not a big deal to self diagnose, or to be like "I probably have depression/ADHD/autism/OCD/whatever." when this person educated themself and isn't just saying that when they feel sad for one day, cannot concentrate in class, because they cannot stand a certain sound or like it to sort pencils by colour. Of course, when you go to a doctor and have your letter which says "Congrats, you have depression" then it's better because you can get medication or it can be respected at work, school, whatever, but not everyone needs that and for some people it's really enough to just know that they're not the only one feeling that way or smth.

Speaking intellectually about your points. The only way to understand it is to study it. But the reason we can't study this sort of stuff is the illegality of it and that it is perceived as so wrong that anyone who pursues information on it academically is an affront to nature. There was a whole dolphin experiment where the male dolphin fell into an affectionate relationship with his human and he killed himself when isolated in a tank of other dolphins when the research ended because he genuinely was mated to a human and only female humans excited him, but being a dolphin he was completely rejected.
