Very glad to get this applied to my lawn. As I'm typing this, it's raining, but not a ton at all. That part is disappointing. Enough to maybe water it in but likely will need to water more. God bless you guys, see you on the next one!

I've encountered more aggravation with the Ortho than I have success. My first purchase of Hydretain came with a smaller bottle with a hose attachment (similar to the Simple Lawn Solutions products) and I've used that for every application.

Without reviewing Allen’s video, I believe the Ortho put out two gallons in one not two minutes. Crunching the numbers is confusing for me as well since I have a disability that requires more math to be able to match my walking speed.

Thanks for the demonstration. I bought it after your last video. I'll never had success in the past with the orto dial in when used for bio stimulat. I gave up on them but I will pick up one for this.

what I do when I'm using the next products and hydrotain with the ortho I put the setting on 3 or 4 and helps water more in as I go and I'm not rushed and run out of the product so quickly but I have the problem of running out of product quickly with my flowzone back pack sprayer great video

I know that sprayer and i have the same hose as you do and it will kink up on you easy. We had two days with good chance of rain so I was like good we should I hoped get 2" of rain. No, I got 1/2 in of rain and man we just are not getting any Jesus watering yet. I've been watering hours and hours on city water and I don't want to see my bill when it come next week!! LOL Saying rain the starting tonight and for two days we could get rain but that has changed with less chance today. Bummer

I fully plan to use this next year after I get this lawn renovation done in the fall. I suppose you could use that ortho to apply green effect as well?

I wonder if applying hydretain early morning when the grass is covered in dew would work. Has anyone given this a try and is it as effective as watering before the application? Either way, I guess applying with the Ortho sprayer makes the most sense and is the least amount of steps to take.

Have you measured your blade height with a ruler (on a flat surface like your driveway) to get the true height of cut?I’ve noticed most residential mowers claim a certain height of cut per setting…but when I verify that with a ruler I’ve seen them be off by .25 to .50 inches lower than advertised.
