I don’t think Mario Prada the founder of Fratelli was born in 1857. According to the biography on his life found on Amazon Mario was born in January of 1881. Maybe you are getting confused with Mario’s father Luigi. He could have been born in 1857. Also you mention the son having no interest in inheriting the business, so that only left one person, his daughter, Luisa. Just so you know, there was another daughter, too, Marina. Just thought these details might help!:) ❤

I know it’s not really fashion related, but the love story of Miuccia and her husband is one of a kind and worth mentioning. When i remember right, he was a businessman, no idea about fashion but marketing. So he started copying her iconic nylon bags (since nylon was cheap and easy to produce) and Miuccia sued him for that and so they met, fell in love, been a powercouple ever since

Good Morning, I had worked for 12 years for Prada and I am really close to each detail about the History of from the real "Start". You decide to describe the Fratelli Prada and what was the very first store in Galleria Vittorio Emanuele. There are in your description différentes not correct information about. First - they doesn't have at the end of 1800" a store of leather items and trucks but Mario Prada had an original, and completely out of legal store, of Couruosity Items not really easy to find in that period. In this shop, same placement of the actual boutique, you could find many Objects arriving from Africa Imported illegal because he was assigned there for Military service. The most precious item was the Skin of Elephant. Second - The King of Italy never seen a luggage produced by Fratelli Prada but an Hold Trunck exposed yes but Buyed from Them in a foreign country. Sorry for this long post but is, from my side to let people interested about your cute project, Necessary to show the Reality, even if is not glamour or sparkling, because nothing changed at the end.
