Small correction, Blair has two lawsuits against her. One from the debt collector that was originally from Wayfair (~$3k) AND another from the state of Colorado (~$27k). MadCatster went over both of them in the same video which may have led to confusion. Also, Oz's curing the foreclosure would 100% have gone to the state PLUS she is still on the CO delinquency tax list, I just checked.

So from what I've heard about NDAs, they don't apply to whistleblowers reporting or leaking information of a crime being committed by the employer. Felixthekitkat in this scenario was told to gather information on someone, which could have been used for malicious reasons. An attorney could make the case that Iilluminaughtii requested the information for purposes of possible blackmail or as an effort to defame an individual leading to a frivolous lawsuit that either incriminates Iilluminaughtii in her own case or wastes everyone's time. Then again NDA's can be very complicated, who knows what was on the NDA signed.

BUT… Devin is a KZbinr himself, and most likely understands internet/youtube culture a lot more than the average person in the legal field. If the public interest in Blair happened after the incident, I would agree with the judge. Lots of people go viral after being caught acting a fool, but they aren’t public figures. But she's a documentarian. That's what should have been argued. She makes documentaries and her credibility in the public eye is a very important component to her businesses. Her persona isn't all of her business's value, but like similar journalists on other platforms it is absolutely a factor. Calling her just a KZbin personality and thinking of her like she's just talking about toilet rizz or whatever the kids are doing (I'm old too, I understand the judge making the mistake) is something Oz's lawyers needed to correct. Unfortunately, they have to do the work of laying this out to the judge in detail as if the judge lives under a rock with no WiFi. That's just the system we have.

Anyone who's played any role playing games knows that NPCs (non-player characters) are there either to be taken advantage of or to be defended against. Blair seems to think that everyone else in the world is an NPC in her personal game, and when Oz, Felix, and Wonderstruck decided to stop playing by her rules she decided that it was time to destroy them. She clearly doesn't understand that she's ruining her own life as well as theirs, and when she figures it out it's likely to be too late; there will be nothing left for her to salvage.
