For me, I don't intentionally hit up on the driver. I simply use the same swing with all my clubs. So my swing with the driver is the same with a sand wedge (ball position is a little different obliviously). Because of that, I try to tee it up just high enough so I can hit it at the center of the clubface (which happens to work when the equator of the ball is at the same height as the crown of my driver).

I notice when I tee the ball up higher than normal, it has a tendency to draw or even hook. When I tee it low, I get more of a fade.

Thanks for watching Tom! We did use the normalization button on the Trackman to combat some of that effect. With that said, the fact that all of the balls hit were range balls still provides an objective test.

Is there a setting on the Trackman where it can take into account the fact that you're hitting range balls which are going to fly 20% less would be my estimate.. is it already taken that into account on this video

Yes you can modify the type of ball you are using and we have it set to premium. Similarly you can modify for wind and temp by normalizing - Thomas

If you want to hit the ball further and avoid skying your drives play around with moving the ball position forward in your stance and having your left shoulder higher than right at impact. This will improve your attack angle and you will be surprised how high you can tee the ball. - Thomas

It not looked like half the ball was over the driver head with standard tee height. So Ball half over the driver head is high tee height? I thought that was standard tee height.

The high tee height is almost the entire ball above the crown of the clubhead. The standard tee height Thomas uses is about half of the ball above the crown.

40 to 50 yards of spread on those drives! Yikes! I wouldn't be able to hit driver at any of the courses I play with that much inaccuracy! I'd rather hit something I can get the accuracy to less than 15 yards so I wouldn't be hitting my 2nd shot from a horrible lie!
