I don't mind the lines that much as it reminds me of the Superman comics I would always read as a kid. The colors should be just a little lighter since this is a Superman that takes more inspiration from random DC comics (like Kingdom Come, All Star, and the new 52).

This really looks like a homemade suit and I love it. This is his first suit and I think the suit will change to a more refined design in the next movies(if the story needs it). I feel sure that this superman will get the best character development.

Yes, the suit looks baggy BUT 1- The position really doesn't help, it should look far better when he's standing and 2- I believe Gunn would go for the "My mother made it for me" approach so it makes sense it looks handmade. Over all I like this more than cavill's because of his hair and trunks, two of the more iconic parte of Superman that were missing from the Snyder version (also the charisma, but we'll have to wait and see)

It seems one thing the audience does not understand about this design is that it is not taking inspiration from modern super suits and Superman designs (i.e skin tight alien material) it is taking more inspiration, as Gunn says, from the Alex Ross design and designs from the "golden age" where in most costumes were made of cloth. This suit also seems to be made to be a practical effect (I understand ones like Cavil's had the practical suit, however, those suits were cleaned up with CGI much akin to Tom Holland Spider-Man suits) it is quite interesting how more people have not caught on to this.

The color combination tells me the suit is earth-man-made. The combo of the Cap/Guardians style of the suit tells me that the suit was created for someone who deals in and needs protection from high-friction environments and it was made by Martha to be resistant againt heat-damage, lubrication, wear and friction.

I was nervous about the symbol at first. But when I saw the symbol in the context of the suit, I thought it looked like a dieselpunk look. Which is fresh. I love the scene. Superman is so he hasn't time to clean his suit. His life is so interrupted, he has to rise and shine in the middle of the night to deal with some villain crap. He can't even style is hair! So far, I am still on board. I think the suit will get ruined, and he will get a new look at the end of the film.

While this suit looks great, this is likely not the traditional Superman suit that James gonna go for. The design concepts you showed, they're most likely gonna be the main suit. I think it is gonna look similar to the first design but a little bit different. Might add a black color to that. Maybe this is not the final project of the suit, but either way, I still think James will make a great DCU Superman film.

You're stretching, the suit and the logo won't change from this over time. The suit maybe in a later sequel (they tend to tweak those), but the logo, never - this is the Superman emblem for Gunn's DCU.

I’m gonna be honest, this suit isn’t as bad as some are making it out to be. It isn’t legendary by any means, but it looks good in my opinion. Sue me, but I like this more than Cavil’s Man of Steel suit, but I liked Cavil’s suit in the post credit scene of Black Adam more. I think that was the greatest live Superman suit of all time even though we barely got a full look at it. The collar on this suit throws me off a bit but it’s growing on me already. I have a few nitpicks though. 1, there’s too many lines. Superman’s suit is already detailed enough. A few lines wouldn’t be bad but I think they over did it here. 2, the material is too thick. Corensweat got jacked for this role and I feel the thick material doesn’t do him justice. I’m also very thankful they were finally getting the hair curl, it looks great. I also hope we get the logo on the cape. As far as the ship in the background goes, I wouldn’t be mad if it was Braniac, but I feel like he would be a better first villain for the justice league. I hope this is Mongul. As far as I know we haven’t seen him in live action yet and he’s a cool character. Another thing I want to say is despite what others might say, I like the tone of this picture. People are saying it looks like he’s depressed, but I don’t think so. It looks more like he’s been beaten down, but despite that, he still puts on the cape to go be a symbol of hope, and I think that’s exactly what we need from a Superman movie.

If you picture him standing up without the battle damage, then the suit looks great. It wouldn't look baggy, the lines on the shoulders and arms would look more minimalist, we would get to see the bright colours of the suit along with red pants with the yellow belt. Honestly, if what I'm seeing in my mind is what it is, then this is the best live action superman suit. The only issue with the suit is that it is not a skin tight suit, its not trying to be. This might be the first live action superman suit that's not trying to be skin tight. This is the biggest change that James gunn has made and for some reason no one is talking about it.

Personally, this might be in my top 3 favorite live action Superman suits, right next to Superman and Lois S3 and CW Kingdom Come. - The Kingdom Come logo is my personally favorite Superman logo (even if I think it will be replaced by the end) - The New 52 suit is my favorite comic suit, so I'm happy about the collar. My only wish is if it had the red line along the collar. - I go back and forth on the trunks. If he has a red New 52/Rebirth belt, he doesn't need it. If it's a gold belt, which I believe it is, then the trunk breaks up all the blue. - I've never had a problem with the MCU line. People are overreacting on that aspect. Overall, it's a really great suit. I can't wait to see it in action.

I say they cooked because, HOLY S***, THIS LOOKS AWESOME. I do however have some criticisms though, because although I love the trucks, the vibrant red really pops out, and the symbol looks great on him. I think the suit material looks a bit baggy on him in this shot, and I wish the blue was brighter, & I wish the suit didn't have a collar on it, since Im not the biggest fan of the collar in the New 52 suit. Nevertheless, I am still INSANELY excited to see David Corenswet in the role and to see James Gunn's vision come to life! As for what's happening in the background,I have no idea WTF is happening outside!? It could be Brainiac's Skull Ship out of focus, maybe Mongul and his ship, aka Warworld or Solaris the Living Sun since he was featured in the All-Star Superman comic, and James Gunn is taking inspiration from that story. At this point, it is too unclear.

People have run this image through WASITAI and other sites, and those sites say this is an AI generated image. Most feedback for this is "meh" to "it sucks". Even Gunn friendly channels. It isn't going over very well. It looks like cosplay/CW level.

Ok so looking at the legs it’s obvious that the top is damaged and that’s why the colors are muted and it looks like it may have been taken in a dark room, I love the hair gives Superman vibes one thing i didn’t like about Henry’s Superman was that he didn’t have the hair. The logo has grown on me a lot and I can finally see it as a S sometimes,The red on the boots and cape OH MY LORD ITS BEAUTIFUL. We can also see the red trunks and golden belt perfect in my opinion i love Superman with the trunks and belt. Now for the big wrinkles and lines on the suit, I need to see the none battle damaged one while he is standing up to say anything about that but David looks good he looks like Superman I’m happy about that I just need to see the smile.
