Soo glad you two had a blast with the Octa Psi!!! I had so much fun making crazy noises in my office as we developed the pedal. As time went on the sounds went from just crazy to crazy good, and then it became a goal, make the coolest sounding pitch-shifting octave fuzz I could. ;-)

Regarding the SLO hate, It was indeed intended to go in front of a clean amp. Preferably American/Fender clean. Bright switch capability is a bonus too. I have one in front of a Suhr Bella and it gets me in the ball park of SLO100 territory.

I have one of the SLO pedals. As far as the question of how you're supposed to use it goes, what's key is that you're going into a completely clean amp, whether you're going into the preamp or the power amp. If you have any amp gain engaged at all, it will significantly alter the sound of the pedal and it won't sound like what it's supposed to sound like.

Please stop moving the screen pedal placement after every adjustment. Why? Because every time that I zoom in to better see the adjustments made, the pedal disappears off to a different screen location and I need to zoom out again to find out….LoL!!! No, no, no. The soldano is supposed to be hooked in after the speaker 😂.. Truth be told, though, the katana does not like some pedals in front of the preamp. Like the Boss MT-2 distortion pedal has to be in the loop
