The cell-phone bombers are among the best features of this games. Sudden escalation of intensity like none other. The voice lines are superbly well done and immersive. Outstanding game. Music choices are spot on too, classic Fallout music is appreciated.

Insurgency is an underrated masterpiece. You forgot to mention the fun party game modes that come out every couple months, "seal team 666" is my favorite. And hot potato is always good for laughs with the bois

does a lot better than most popular shooters: Guns sound actually realistic, co-op is there and pretty fun for people who play PVE only, you can basically create your own character with different types of gear unlike in cod or the final descendent where you boot into the lobby and everyone is the same character.

Best FPS on console hands down. I want a gaming PC cause there are other great games but on PS my options are limited. I also play checkpoint. It’s a good game but best thing is mostly not COD kids screaming and most people play somewhat tacticool but if lucky you’ll play with people who really play tactically sound and that’s always fun.

Really really happy that more and more youtubers cover sandstorm. Community has been very divisive over the years, alot of frustrations from the players towards devs, there's many holes to poke in sandstorm. But there's STILL somehow some youtubers who just come back to it and make a vid or two. That alone speaks volumes, at least in my opinion. Thank you very much Bliss, and thank you youtube algorithm, for showing me this video. Some criticism, re-running the same clip from your gameplay is fine, especially for when what you're currently talking about, the clip has an example of. But not after the fifth time. Just..get more footage.

I have many hours on this game and I can't seem to find any shooters that I find enjoyable like Sandstorm. The Maps, the voice acting, the reload animations, the gunfights, the sound of the guns, the sound of your character being temporarily deafened by a grenade, the gore,. I'll complain about how broken the bots are in a hardcore lobby just to come back the next day and play it for hours lmfao.

This game is literally like titanfall in the way that everyone loves it but nobody plays it Also there's some depth with the observer class that he can use smokes to block the binoculars and cause the commander to call fire support on the smoke. I use it when I make someone into the commander and they're not really good in general so I can tell them hey just call it on the smokes and make it a day

Insurgency Sandstorm is rad! But they really need to fix the way loadouts are saved and give you your upgrade points on the home screen so you can customize and save without actually being in a lobby. It sucks starting a match and having to rebuild your setup. They also need 2 marksmen so you eliminate the single dude hiding off objective. And make the dlc skins and stuff actually work. Mine wont work currently. Albeit I'm playing on Series X with game pass so maybe thats part of the issue?

I'd really recommend you getting the PC version, the ISMC modpack alone has enough content there to last you for ages. I bought it for 10€ online and can run it at 1080p/60fps on an i5 3570 with 12gb of DDR3-1600 and a GTX 1650 LP GPU. My rig is in modern gaming terms what you would call a toaster (the 3570 is 11 years old at this point.) and can still play just fine with no stutters. It's quite well optimized nowadays.

i have 3k hours total in both insurgency games but sandstorm's coop is not what people make it up to be imo because AI is sewerely stupid they either stay in one spot and wait for you to kill them or just shoot you while running with whatever weapon they using 2014 insurgency's AI is the best imo because they allways try to flank you,supress you or camp in corners for you to come other than AI insurgency is made for pvp imo because there is no such game that has the realism-arcade mechanichs at the same time or balanced like insurgency

i love co-op sandstorm i just wish they'd work on how the ai will just pour down the same lanes repetitively and all at once when you're defending cause there's really often that one person mowing down the entire enemy spawns as their walking out of their cover all as a group so predictably and you won't be able to get a single kill it gets really boring really fast to me. but then yeah versus is really tryhard

The game modes really suck. Its not kill based, it just revolves around rushing a point on the map and being able to camp there for as long as possible. Its so boring dying over and over again trying to take a single point. Its an awesome game dont get me wrong, compared to the other trash out there. But why not have smaller S&D modes, like tactical 5v5 last man standing type of modes? It just feel like a shitty Battlefield game. Also snipers are completely useless since you have to push to win, and there are no good sniping spots because the maps are most close quarters

game abandoned as soon as it came out on console. an update every six months, problems solved after numerous tickets? almost nothing. after 3 years we still see bots killing while aiming at the sky or the ground. grenades thrown at the feet with a laser aim without being seen by a bot. more than artificial intelligence I could talk about artificial degradation. It wouldn't take much to fix the AI. add some maps with a lot of vegetation (otherwise many camouflages make no sense) and it would be more enjoyable. hardcore co-op and the best mode. ( by xbox player level over 1800)
