Dude that’s crazy I’m also a Tuono owner and just got a new smaller naked bike, but i went with the steer triple rs
@Antmanmoto2 ай бұрын
I don’t know about you, but this is the first triple I have ever owned. I think the engine sound is amazing. It just makes the bike the most enjoyable it can be when you’re spinning it up hearing that sound. I can’t wait for the pipe!
@kupalisky35532 ай бұрын
@@Antmanmoto agreed these triples are like the perfect blend of a twin and an inline 4. Yours should be a little more torquey since it has more displacement (900cc vs 765cc)

NICE!!!!!! My GF traded her 07 speed tripple in (she put 50k miles on it) for an MT09 last fall, we swap (my 2019 Tuono) all the time, especially on long rides when we want a change in riding position. Got her new Rizoma bars installed last night and the vortex rearsets just showed up, she is planning on doing the tune and exhaust next since she just paid it off last month. We've ridden the street bikes on track a few times and it's for sure fun to toss around as a change up from the track bikes, putting some motul 700 brake fluid in it and switching to some nice EBCs helped the brake feel, but still planning on lines and a steering damper. Nice addition to the stable! cheers!

Yeah, those brakes are surprisingly soft upfront. The rear brakes are fine, but that front brake is like whoa… Why is it not stopping the bike??? Definitely changing out pads and going to braided lines eventually.

I owned one, great bike; get it tuned, flat spots go away; no one better than Brian. I tracked it a few times did great.
@Antmanmoto2 ай бұрын
Yeah, I’m either gonna go with Brian or the Mail in tune through two wheel. Dyno Works. I like his videos and he seems very thorough.

Sweet ride! HH sintered pads will cure the brake issue for sure.

Yes, I am getting some. A buddy told me to get some EPFA pads.

Nothing like that CP3. Congrats on the new bike!

That engine is silky smooth. I want one!

Yeah, you had the Triumph… I was surprised to see it go so quickly! My main reason for getting the MT is the lack of worry over maintenance. Unlike the Aprilia, you just ride this thing and change the oil. 26,000 mile valve checks made it a done deal for me!
@CubanRider2 ай бұрын
@@Antmanmoto same reason I went back to BMW. These engines are stupidly easy to maintain, and most of the time the valve need no adjustments at 18k miles.

I have the same bike antman! Put Brembo brake pads on front, Power cup 2 tires and you can thank me later. Antprilia calls mine my sumo bike LOL. I finally have the new RSV4 dialed in, race ECU, Spark exhaust etc. We need to get our Aprilias and MT09sp's together and ride soon on TOTD.
@Antmanmoto2 ай бұрын
Let’s do it! I agree with everything you said except the tires… I strictly runPirelli’s SC’s. I have not found a tire I gelled with better than those and I have tried them all.
@BigEbikesports2 ай бұрын
@@Antmanmoto Sounds great man! I feel you on tires, I like the SC's on the Aprilias and Power cups on the Yamahas lol. Anything track tire is better than a common street tire especially at the TOTD. Now I just gotta get JR's butt back on the Aprilia lol.

That's a beautiful bike. It looks so nice, colors and all, but I'm like you.... What is hanging off the back? That's just not pretty. It looks like a truck bumper, but I know you're going to lop it off. Can't wait to see and hear it when all the mods are done. As always, ride safe, and I will see you on the next one🤙🏼🤘🏼✌🏼👍🏼

Do you really think it looks bad? I was debating on keeping it on just to be different than everybody else lol

As you know... I've owned the HyperNaked. SDR, Tuono Factory and Streetfighter SP... The Tuono Factory is the best all around of the 3.

Too funny! I just picked up a new 23 SP a month ago! Just did TRex tail tidy, radiator guard, and Amazon $40 windscreen. It’s great in the NC twisties. I sold my 14 Superduke R that I had a few months. Did not love the vtwin and clutch nor how slow it turned at speed. I too love the Tuono as my boy has one and omg what an aweome bike. I already have a GSXS1000GT, so the deal I got in the SP was a no brainer. Can’t wait to put some miles on it! I may be putting some HEL V1 billet calipers on the Suzuki. Watching to see what exhaust you go with.
@Antmanmoto2 ай бұрын
Damn, you’ve got some great bikes… How do you like the GT? I will have the exhaust and tune done in August.

@@Antmanmoto I love it overall. Put a Lextek full exhaust from Paul Hutchings in the UK on, SBS851RST pads (helped some), just installed a Nissin radial master from Paul, still gotta bleed it. Have a Nitron R3 rear shock from PJ’s Church of Speed waiting to go on. Had it dyno tuned locally at Pitlane Moto - made 150 wheel, stock is normally 132-135. DNA filter in it. It’s getting better and better. I would recommend one to anyone.

Wow that’s EXCELLENT!!! I had a 2017 GSXS 1000 and it made 140 hp at the wheel after the mid pipe, BMC air filter and tune.

Nice . But you did not ride mt10 sp…right 😊 . Thing is ..mt10 got the playfulness of mt09 . That is if only 1 bike is an option . If 2 is you did the right thing . Mt10 sp and tuono v4 factory is to simular. Agility of mt09 is great and the hooliganess is also great . Lift is off . Set an personal setting then the fun begins. Enjoy 👍🏻

Yeah, I watch a couple of guys out in California and he kind of said the same thing as me. He rides a Tuono factory and his buddy Rides an MT 10 SP. And there’s a spot on pretty fast route they go where when it’s time to go, the Tuono eats it up Every time… that 20 more horsepower makes a difference! But yeah, if I did not own a Tuono, I would be getting the MT 10 SP over any other naked bike
